This is the Bald Chefs recipe for skewered grilled shrimp right on your barbecue at home. This recipe has a twist I use shell on large black tiger shrimp that have been cleaned and de-veined. The twist is I infuse fresh pesto underneath this shrimp shells to season this shrimp. The Shrimp is then placed onto bamboo skewers and is barbecued or grilled over live hickory coals. The results are fabulous, I will show you step by step how to create this unique and absolutely delicious grilled or as many call it barbecued shrimp recipe. Give it a try it makes a great appetizer or a main course to your summertime meal. This is my best recipe for grilled shrimp.

and this evening I’m putting together a
very simple appetizer can be used as the
main course if you like I’m gonna get
for myself tonight it’s grilled shrimp
on the barbecue with a twist
I put this recipe together I’ve done it
many times before and each time I’ve
done it I’ve had outstanding results so
let me get started you know sure exactly
how I do this
grilled what I’m starting out with here
is some 16 count nice-looking tiger
black tiger shrimp we’ve got about seven
of them in there they’ll make a nice
score as you can see these are
completely devein but they still have
the shell on so the first thing we do is
gonna season these shrimp up a little
bit of this pink Himalayan salt I guess
it’s off the coast of or up the Mount
Everest regions up there in the
Himalayans
and just a pinch of cracked black pepper
and that what we’re gonna do is take
some fresh pesto but a tablespoon and
what I like to do is that like to work
this pesto in underneath the shell like
this I let this work into the shrimp and
with the salt and the pepper and I tell
you what they sound well strange but if
you ever give this try the results my
friend are absolutely out of this world
so I’m gonna kind of cook these little
tiger shrimp up with some of the basil
I’ll come back all right
taking a bamboo skewer that I have
soaked in some water not simply just
take and skewer
these shrimp one at a time with the
basil bed under the skewer you’re on
there like this you get these propped up
it’s pretty easy stuff here and getting
ready to get out the air on that
barbecue so when we get the rest of
these put on here and I’ll join you
outside and we’ll start grill on these
bad boys up all right got some fresh
shrimp here that we put the pesto in put
these on some
hick Creek and let these shrimp grill up
we’ll come back and a little bit here
the flip and take a look at them pick
your smells real good here take these
shrimp suck those over there and good
goes the top on this let these go up but
another three four minutes and they will
be cooked well this trips come off the
grill here
you just easily peel this off here this
gel I’ll expose some beautifully cooked
tiger shrimp with the pesto infused
flavorings
if you like grill prep it might be when
you’d like to try it’s got a lot of
flavor to it there’s equity to get coals
really our jazz just went up a little
bit folks thanks for watching its gloom
the ball shelf and as always
Bon Appetit
