   Lewis is top notch. Palmira Barbecue in West Ashley is also fantastic – the beef cheeks make me want to give up brisket.

    Lewis is a former pit master at Franklins in Austin. He opened and ran La BBQ there too for a while before moving to open Lewis in Chas.
