  2. Bouna Giornata Bella Amico, yes I have made cakes in a pan, pancakes 😀. That looks yummy. Unfortunately I do not have a frying pan that big so I will try it in the oven. I too like to use fruit juice in my cakes instead of water. My apple walnut loaf is a favorite of my friends, when I share with them. I also like your cake server, does it push the slice off of the server. I can tell that your cake was delicious, you ate it before it even was on a dish 😋. I just may surprise my friend this week with a pineapple 🍍 🍒upside down cake when I bring down my cheesecake to his restaurant on Tuesday.   10. Ive tried this cake many times before in an oven but never in a skillet! Wow it looks so moist and delicious. Once im off my diet i will try this for sure!
    (Just a little tip when you melt the sugar in the pan be extra careful it can get really dark and taste bitter)

  16. I make this cake. Cake texture was light and golden brown in color. The recipe calls for 50 g (1/4 cup) caster sugar (I used granulated sugar). I would have liked the cake to be slightly sweeter. Other than that, it was great.

  17. Can you prep the mix before doing the cooking? Or is it preferable to add the flour batter while the butter & slices are still hot or should one let those cool down first?
