First time making steak and eggs together. I tried flipping the Denver every 1 min, for just under 6 minutes total. Whereas I am usually a flip once kind of guy. This method worked really well, just not sure why the crust is so black, but it tasted better than it looks. Denver cut.

    Solid.

Have only been on this sub the last month or so, but I’ve been impressed by the work the members post, specifically as it comes to crust/temp balance

The skillet is too hot. bring it down to medium to brown and then bring it to high for the last 1 minute to have the crust.

Take it from me who has to prepare a rare, medium rare, well done and too dry brown all the way in. All in one dinner setting. My kids and spouse has different taste and preference.

Crust is overcooked to me based on appearance, but if you’re into that kind of char that is indeed a beautiful cook. Lovely edge to edge medium rare

Wagyu? Nice! How much did that cost you ?

Thinking about your crust, what kind of oil did you use?

Waaaaay too dark on the crust for me lol. There’s a difference between a nice crust and a thick layer of carcinogens

Call me weird, but If I’m ordering steak & eggs, I want creamy yolk to dip my steak into.

That crust is judging me, my good crust never looks that goos
