From what I can gather it could be too much feed, anyone else had this experience?

Kinda hard to say since it looks like early stages. Could be fungal disease, could be edema, could be mite damage. How do the underside of the leaves look?

How bright are the lights? Are any tips of other leaves burnt?

That is called a “leaf”. Plants use them to photosynthesize. Think of them as solar panels for the peppers. 😉
