    800g whole milk
    800g heavy cream
    200g honey nut cheerios
    150g sugar
    150g honey
    10g salt
    10g vanilla extract
    50g smp

Combine milk, cream, and cheerios and soak in fridge for 24h. Strain Cheerios from dairy mix, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible from the Cheerios. They’ll still be a little wet and squishy, you’ll never get it all out. Combine dairy, sugar, honey, salt over low heat just to get it all to dissolve and incorporate. Cool to room temp, then mix in vanilla and smp. Rest 12+ he in fridge. Churn according to your machine, add a handful of honey nut cheerios (the new mini ones work great here) in the last 1-2min of churning.

The creamy colour of this is so lovely. I bet the honey in this is tasty. Did you get much character from the honey you used or is it more to enhance the cheerio flavour?

Did your mix in Cheerios get soggy after being in the ice cream?
