Mansaf Chicken And Rice With Yogurt Sauce.
INGREDIENTS::
To boil the chicken
A whole chicken cut into small pieces to taste
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
2 bay leaves
1 cinnamon stick
5 cardamom pods
5 cloves
5 grains of black pepper
Salt to taste, it is better not to be salty, because the jameed is salty
Half an onion
To make jameed sauce
One piece of Jameed
4 ~ 5 cups of water
2 cups thick and sour yogurt
To make the rice
4 cups long-grain American rice
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 cup oil, or to taste
Add 7 ~ 8 cups of chicken stock and water
salt
To brush on top of the cooked chicken
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of mixed spices
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
Other additions
Shirak bread or Lebanese bread
Toasted pine nuts
Toasted almonds
Chopped parsley
