kitchen’s coming over too he’s another
dear friend and their daughter Nicole
and I’m not sure about their daughter
Victoria because she’s working she
doesn’t know what time she’s going to
get done but I told my friend don’t
worry there’ll be plenty of
food there’s always plenty of food so I
I started prepping a little bit this
morning and then I says let me get in
the shower cuz then before you know it
it’s going to be close to the you know
the time they’re coming over at 600 so I
have some time but uh you know you got
to prep if you’re cooking I got to
prepare everything and have a lot of
things ready right
so um tonight on the menu is steak
pizzola how good does that sound I’m not
going to be answering too many questions
because I’m prepping I’m
sorry but tonight on the menu is steak
pizzola and uh I’m going to make shrimps
oranada I’m going to glasses on I’m
going to do some peppers in the in the
oven I’m going to do um what else am I
do doing I’m going to make a
brushetta I’m going to do a a a a
zucchini with the pasta my husband’s
going to yell at me cuz he’s going to
say m mommy all this food but I don’t
care when I have company I like to
have so it’s all about love I’m going to
make a Cherie board I said that right
yeah Cherie board my son’s here with me
today cuz he’s off this week so uh he’s
going to get a hair cut those soon but
he always helps me he’ll help me he
helped me clean the house this
morning and I’m just getting ready to
chop my fresh parsley because I’m going
to need parsley for a few things today
so I got to you know prepare I got to
prep right I wish I could invite you all
over to
eat so um I’m going to make I look at
these I went to Uncle jeppie don’t worry
I’m going to post a beautiful haul I’m
going to make my Bretta with these
heirloom tomatoes that I found there the
beautiful we’re going to make some nice
fresh Bretta brushetta my husband breta
Bretta listen sometimes I don’t it’s
okay though pronounce things right but
you know what I mean you know what I
mean
guys guys and
girls going to have a fun
night my son put martini glasses in the
freezer to chill them but listen how if
I ever drank a martini I’d be past Alpha
two
days but they whoever wants a martini my
son’s going to make him he makes a good
uh expresso martini right yeah Paulie
had one last night he loved it and I’m
glad I’m feeling better thank God God is
good because I was not feeling good with
my co and M’s feeling better too he went
to
work and I told him don’t forget dessert
cuz we definitely need dessert right we
do let me say say hi to a few people hi

husband chop my stuff that’s why when I

already chopped usually cuz he’s my
Chopper he chops good M says that I’m a
little dangerous with a
knife but you know what we we can’t be
good at everything
right we can’t be good at
everything but I know I’m good at
cooking because my food tastes
good right yeah it
does so I’m I’m just cutting my chopping
my
parsley and cuz I’m going to need this
for my pizzola I’m going to need this
for my
um uh not my pasta I’m going to need
this for my uh shrimp
oranada it’s going to be a beautiful
thing and don’t judge me I’m a I’m using
aluminums uh tonight because I’m going
to have company and I don’t want to be
cleaning the whole time so easy
disposal but I I uh normally like to use
now that I’m in my new house and I have
everything here the real ones but not
tonight cuz it’ll be a lot easier for
me and I never get my parsley too too
chopped because I can’t and
and and it’s okay I like oh Johnny’s on

that’s always a great appetizer and you
know what I’m making tonight too even
the pasta with the zucchini it’s fresh
it’s light it’s easy to make I I guess
you could say that’s a nice spring dish
no sounds springy to me everyone’s
asking what type of knife that is this
is a Cutco knife I’ve been using Cutco
my whole my well not my whole life half
of it half of it yes I I um I got cocoa
knives at my Brattle shower 33 years ago
and I still have them but I um got a
bunch more new ones now and they’re
wonderful I got knives I don’t even know
what to do
with but they’re great the Coco knives
they really are so now I’m going to
start making my Bretta so what I do is I
get a bigger bowl because I like to um I
like to mix it in a bigger bowl I mix it
and then I’ll pour it to sa for later
and uh Johnny you’re in for a treat
tonight

um I’m going to have appetizers uh fresh
Bretta I’m going to have uh peppers in
the oven I’m going to do them a little
different today I’m going to do them
with some breadcrumb then I’m going to
have a chakeri board uh I’m making
shrimp Sanada I’m making pasta with
squash uh pasta with zucchini and I’m
making um uh steak pizol cuz I like to
have a
variety I really do and I know my
husband’s going to yell at me cuz he’s
going to say oh you’re making too much
food but I don’t care he’s going to say
that’s too much and you know what I
don’t take my seeds out of the tomatoes
that’s the way I do it and you can if
you want but I
don’t and I just give him a chop I put
them in here and Bretta is great cuz you
could prepare it
before it’s wonderful it’s a beautiful
thing it’s a beautiful
thing and I’m happy when I’m cooking
because I know tonight we’re going to
have fun and we’re going to love each
other and uh the people people that are
coming over I love and I want to feed
them and and it’s all about love and
when I cook I cook with love I really do
I really really do so I’m just cutting
my
tomatoes right now I says you know what

factory it it was so I was so impressed

you add to yours cuz you always made a
Bretta but what did you what did he add
to his that you add it to yours what was
it was it the beans no no he’s the one
that gave me the idea with the beans
with the beans that’s what I’m saying
that’s what you added with the beans and
now I’m just I’m just uh grating some
fresh garlic now sometimes I put red
onions in this but guess what I forgot
to buy them sometimes I do the garlic
and the onion onions but a lot of times
I you could just do the garlic too it’s
okay you want me to go get a red onion
no I don’t need it okay no it’s not like
it won’t be good you
know so I’m doing this and this is a
great one I got this on Amazon I love it
I’m sure it’s on my storefront right
yeah my Amazon storefront because you
know certain tools don’t work great good
as others so I like to share the love
with my what I use I really do so in
this I’m doing two uh
heads of uh garlic I know it sounds a
lot but we love garlic so and I’m going
to toast my own bread to make my little
toastini with theetta it’s going to be
beautiful it’s going to be a beautiful
thing no the board is from Kaka yes The
Cutting
Board and I like it cuz it’s it has a
little stand like it’s a little elevated
and I and I like that feature
and Coco uh the boards I I have I’ve got
them recently and I’m very very happy
with them they’re wonderful they really
are
okay and now I’m going to show everyone
what it looks like so far yeah that’s so
far and we’re going to do our salt and
pepper to
taste I’m not making a lot of brushetta
cuz I have so many other things you know
salted peer to
taste and now I got to get U my

balsamic my balsamic vinegar I’m going
to put and my olive oil of course olive
oil I go through olive oil like water
yeah I didn’t do I didn’t do my hair I’m
going to get a haircut
haircut all right okay let me get my
balsamic It’s a beautiful
morning yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy
yum where you get that from uh I got
this from Uncle juppi yes uh we’re going
to post the haul from Uncle jeppis of
the things I bought I got the the meat
from there for
um uh for the steak be iol tonight I’m
going to show everybody um and I have a
great steak pizol recipe on my our
YouTube family talk and taste and I
always taste to
see mhm make sure I have enough of salt
enough of um pepper enough of balsamic
enough of olive oil and these I drained
for about an hour I rinsed them and
drained them to be
and then I just mix this all together so
listen by tonight this is going to be
even more marinated yeah it’ll be
delicious okay so now I add my beans in
so I’m going to add a little bit more
salt a little bit more Pepper and a
little bit more olive oil um balsamic we
have enough you never want to add too
much balsamic I feel because it’s strong
so I’m just doing it um just added a
little more olive oil and then you know
what I’m going to do I’m going to put
this in a container and then always some
little bit of fresh
parsley I’m going to leave this in a
container and uh it’ll be so nice and
marinated for later on
delicious very delicious I’m trying to
think in my head what dish I’m going to
use for this cuz I like to keep
everything nice right when I um when I
serve things I like it nice but this I
won’t you know what I usually do I keep
the Bretta in a small bowl with a
serving spoon and then you make your own
because sometimes they get soggy so fast
so as you want it you you put the
tomatoes on the bread so the bread stays
nice and crispy and that’s right I do
that nine out of 10 times and it’s a
great idea it really is and later on
I’ll take pictures and I’ll show you how
I played it and all that and then after
this too the live will be posted on
YouTube oh yes that’s right okay see he
reminds me of things cuz sometimes I
forget and and another thing I like to
do is I like to clean as I go along so
it doesn’t build up because I’m on my
own most of the time so I feel like it
keeps it neat and clean
everything I I’ll I’ll do this
okay this is already yeah that was just
um okay now I’m going to get um I’m
going to get a bowl to put my bretter in
I don’t want to leave it in
there my kids they take all my
containers and bring them back and then
I I don’t have
enough so I’m going to put my Bretta in
here okay and I’m going to cover
it and I’m going to set it
aside see how easy was that and Bretta
is ready for
later and then when I open it later on
sometimes I add a little more olive oil
I see how I uh you know I taste it again
and see how it

good question what I do I buy a lot of
it well I can’t wait to start growing my
own when my yard is ready I get a lot of
it I clean it real good then I lay it
out to dry very good okay and then when
it’s dry very good I put it in paper
towel roll it up and put it in a Ziploc
bag I am the biggest Ziploc person I put
everything in a Ziploc bag and let me
tell you something that keeps it fresh
listen I use it all the time so uh it’s
like okay well how long does it last
listen I it lasts way over a week uh
because but I use it all the time I I
use a parsley in almost everything I
cook I really

cheese got my

tummy my pecarina Romano
grated cheese drying wi or no get a
clean one this one I need I need one on
my
shoulder and uh can you just get me
garlic powder garlic powder yeah well
you know what I’m going to I’m going to
do the graded I think instead of that
yeah yeah I think I’m going to just
grade some garlic um I’m going to do
that instead so I put my pecorino Romano
uh grated cheese I always add it uh in
my uh seasoned breadcrumb even though it
already has it we love the flavor of
that and then uh my
grer where should I put that where where
do these go actually those go right in
there right in there honey you’ll see
the stack when you open on that side see
it he’s a good boy okay and now I’m
going to add a little fresh
garlic
cuz garlic is is
wonderful it really
is hold on oh my garlic fell and my
breadcrumb it’s okay it’s

delicious flavor you’re going to put the
breadcrumbs on the peppers I am I’m
going to sprinkle them I’m doing it a

today cuz I always just uh roast them or
bake them in the oven today I’m being a
little different what is this go that
goes underneath or pull out the bottom
drawer and you’ll see it there’re
stacked in there okay and then I like to
even leave some of the whole cloves in
I just got to get my little uh tiny
knife that goes in here in the bottom
drawer okay so let’s bring the peppers
by us so you guys could see okay so I
washed them earlier and clean them I’m
going to bring them here so you guys
could see what I’m doing okay so I
washed them earlier and I sliced them in
half these are the little Peppers the
baby ones the the they’re sweet
peppers I’m just cutting the tips off
these garlic cuz even though I put the
garlic in the breadcrumb I’m going to
throw like five cloves uh whole cloves
just in here cuz it’ll give it nice
flavor okay look and then what I
do I’m going to uh do a little olive oil
in my breadcrumb CU it’ll keep the
breadcrumb nice and moist
okay nice and
nice I think I needed a bigger bowl but
I’m good I’m good we’ll be careful we’ll
be careful you want me to add a little
more olive oil little salt and yeah I’m
going to need more olive oil little salt
and pepper to
taste and you know what I always use my
hands too cuz you got to get your hands
dirty for it to taste
good you really do a little bit more
handsome perfect thank you see so the
olive oil just moistens it up a little
bit and this gives it delicious
delicious flavor it really
does
delicious see and now I’m going to
sprinkle this on top but I’m not going
to add cuz I’m going to add more olive
oil later but I’m not baking this yet so
I don’t want to add right now okay just
top it off before you put it in
exactly and these are going to come so
beautiful my wow the smell of this let
me tell and they’re not even cooked and
I can smell it it’s the the gr uh grated
garlic it’s a
beautiful and this is just so nice this
will go with the Bretta and the and the
chakeri board I’m going to
make and today we’re po in uh onion Jam

homemade onion jam cuz he knows that I
love that and uh I always buy it in the
store and we tried making it a few times
and it came out excellent so that’s my

me my husband and it came delicious my
daughter Mary was here last night her
and Paulie actually took a jar home
because she loves it and then this is
good to go too later on we’re going to
add a little olive oil and that’s
it just going to wash my
hands and I love I call this a mine I
love my mine on my um shoulder because
then it’s always here when I need it
okay so these we’re going to set aside
cuz we’re going to bake them later a
little bit later and those you know
what’s the good thing about the peppers
too you can actually cook them ahead of
time and just leave them out because
they can be served at room temperature
they don’t need to be served high so
it’s it’s very good it’s very good so
now I’m going to prepare I think my um
shrimp oranada cuz that can stay
prepared
too right so let me get my shrimp
out I cleaned them all this morning and
I left them in my uh strainer in Italian
we call this the schoolab bast okay so
this is about two lounds of
shrimp okay I do uh I cleaned them
deined them and all that so now I got I
like to I I left them in the
refrigerator get the excess water out
there’s water in the plates which is
good that means they drained and then I
get my uh next
pan where’s the Fig jam recipe oh it’s
here honey I I I wrote it that oh if
it’s not you got to call Daddy and you
know what else I need for the um the uh
shrimp now I need my white

do our breadcrumb mixture

cardiologist they found him with um uh
what did they say with his heart it’s uh

he has an appointment on Saturday and
he’s going to discuss what we need to do
now with my baby boy we’re very upset I

him he’s like our
child he really

have to uh cover and keep in the fridge
the shrimp oh I can’t forget a little
bit of crushed red pepper oh I’m taking
the top off but this has the holes

suffering too

says eight drink packets I get 16 out of
it because I only use half so that’s not
bad

father-in-law has
gout turmeric it in the tea helps with
arthritis okay we could try that I’m not
a big tumeric person they say it stains
everything so I’m always afraid of

was healthy I I try and not let him
drink it all the time it’s not it has

I know this was a couple days ago I’m half way through watching and I keep wondering What’s for dessert? That’s my fav part of of going to dinner at someone else’s house. I love what I make for dessert and I’m usually asked to bring the dessert but I love having something new from someone else.
