I hope that you enjoy my whats for dinner videos. I try to make easy one pan or one pot meals when possible. I list all of the recipes in the descriptions so you can print them out and cook with me. I do easy how to cook videos for beginners on most recipes. Tuesdays are always Taco Tuesday, and I usually make mexican food on that day. I do not have a preference on proteins and include beef, chicken and pork recipes in my videos. I am from the south so comfort food is a big part of what I make.
I try to include budget friendly dinners, cheap meals or frugal meals when possible, and crockpot meals and crockpot recipes are a staple. Easy dinner ideas are always something I am interested in and if you have any dinner ideas or dinner recipes that you would like to see me try please comment me.

the weather’s getting hotter are you
ready for some great grilling recipes
hey friends my name’s Susan and welcome
to my home today I’ve got you six
grilling recipes that our family loves
so let me get this ponytail up and let’s
get to making some amazing grilling
recipes it’s time to warm up that Grill
guys so come on let’s get to
cooking and we’re going to make the
barbecue pineapple Chicken Kebabs I’ve
got some mixed garlic I’ve got a bell
pepper it said red bell pepper I
couldn’t remember which one it said so I
went ahead and got the green it should
be okay I may or may not use it I may
just use the onion
this original Japanese barbecue sauce
not the hot version but the original oh
it is so good this is going to be
awesome on the chicken can’t wait to try
that I’ve got a B onion I’ve got some
pineapple pieces to put on the skewers
and here’s my chicken I’m going to cut
up and put it in the marinade and we’re
going to have some easy fried rice to go
with it so let’s get to cutting and
getting this in my Ziploc bag so it can
start marinating and I’ve cut up all the
chicken and I’m going to go ahead and
get the marinade started and these bag
holders are not just good for um doing
freezer meals I’m going to put all this
in here and let it marinade um I’m
needing 1 tbspoon of ginger
in there I’m doing three teaspoons or
three cloves of
garlic
one
two
three and it CS
four 2/3 cup of teriyaki sauce and 23
cup of barbecue
sauce um I am just going to put about
one cup
of the Japanese teriak which almost took
all of it just by doing that look at
that I know if you can see it but there
ain’t just a little bit left in there
but that’s okay we’ll save it to mop the
chicken in I’m go ahead and pour it in
here cuz this stuff is money let me tell
you it tastes so good guys can’t wait to
make these there I know it’s going to be
good I’ve got all that in there I’m
going to go ahead
and squish around a little bit and put
my chicken in there now it sets to
marinade for 1 to two hours I don’t
quite have that much time but I’ll let
it marinate as long as I can till Danny
gets home because I’ll have to get them
on the skewers and get them in on the
grill that is take them out of the
things and then put them right here zip
it
up get all the air out of
it and then mix it around that’ll be
well coated and I guarantee that is
going to be some good meat on the grill
so let me go put this in the fridge to
stay cold while it’s marinating for an
hour and then I’ll bring you back when I
put everything on the skewers it’s been
marinating for almost an hour so I’m
going to go ahead and start skewering
everything um I thought this was chicken
breast whenever I got it out it was
chicken thigh but that’s okay I’m just
going to double up the
meat and then put
the skew through
it and the
do a
pepper an onion
and a piece of
pineapple and then go at it
again with another piece of meat doubled
up and I’m basically going to go through
this whole bag of meat and do the same
scenario until I run out hopefully I
won’t run out of meat I may run out of
peppers or onion but that’s
okay and then we’ll be getting this on
the grill and here they are all on the
skewers and ready for my ninja Grill
to get ready for the food to be prepped
I Love This indoor grill I use it all
the time I’ll have it linked below too
that way if y’all want one you can get
one cuz this thing is the bomb whenever
it’s raining outside like it is right
now and you want to grill out you don’t
have to worry about it and look at that
the grill is up to 500° I’m going to go
ahead and put the pineapple skewers on
all right and we’ll let that cook for a
little bit I’ll flip them and then
they’ll be ready to
eat and here we go it’s time to take
them off the grill and put them on a
plate and then we’ll be eating here in
just a minute and right here they are
look how pretty they
look all nice and Brown look some of
them are a little bit Char more charred
than other ones are the ones I like so
let’s get them on a plate easy grilling
that taste
amazing this is a recipe you’ve got to
[Music]
try and tonight we’re going to be making
some crack Burgers I know it sounds
weird but it should be really good I’ve
got some fully cooked thick cook bacon
already done buns for the burgers pound
of hamburger sharp cheddar cheese some
sour cream and some ranch dressing let’s
get all that combined so we can get some
crack burgers on the Gill and let’s get
the hamburger to put
together I’ve got one pound of ground
beef here in the bowl I’m going to go
ahead and add in about 3 tablespoons of
sour cream into the
mix mix that up real
good yeah I thought this was going to
get a little bit messy so I put my
gloves on guys I’m not into that
I’m also going to add
in about a four a cup of cooked and
crumbled bacon which I’ve got the
already cooked bacon so I’m going to go
ahead and get that into the mix
also I’m going to add in a cup of
shredded cheddar
cheese and get that going into the
mix and 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing
is also going one in this looks really
good and I’m going to go ahead and get
this all mushed together real good and
form some patties it says about four
patties which sounds good to me we’ll
have some Patties on the
burgers and let me get the grill heating
up and I’ve got my little ninja Grill
heated up it’s still not warm enough
outside to do it outside cuz it got cold
again guys so let’s get them in the
grill
these are a little bit juicy so I’m
going to go ahead and spray the grill
down a little bit that way they don’t
stick and then put the burgers on the
grill ooo listen to
them that way got to be careful so you
don’t burn yourself they’re ready to
roll let’s put the top down and let’s
get them
cooking these burgers were the best
tasting Burgers I have ever ate even
Danny said they were great uh they are
very very juicy you do need to be very
careful whenever you’re flipping them
because they can fall apart so I
forewarn you I made two big patties
probably should have made four smaller
ones it might have been easier to flip
but these are worth the
[Music]
effort and we’re going to do a little
surf and turf tonight on the grill
because it’s getting
summertime and I love some good grilled
food I’m going to go ahead and do some
chicken breast and I’m going to put them
in my Peruvian marinade and we’re going
to have some shrimp that I am going to
just basically do with some butter and
cajun seasoning on the grill so good so
easy with a couple sides and you got a
gra meal that’s probably really healthy
but you know what it’s got to taste good
or ain’t going to eat it neither is
Danny so let’s get these chicken breasts
into our marinade to set for just a
little bit while I get everything else
ready to roll let’s go ahead and get the
chicken breast in I have defrosted them
a little bit so they’re not completely
cold or frozen so those are going in the
uh
container 2 tbspoon of lime
juice five garlic cloves are going
in 2 tpoon of cumin a teaspoon of chili
powder a/ teaspoon of paprika or a
teaspoon paprika and a/ teaspoon of
oregano is going in
next a little bit of pepper is going
in soy sauce is going in
next and a tablespoon of vegetable oil
or olive oil is what I have now it’s
time to get it all mixed up in the
Ziploc now I’ve got all the chicken m
around in the marinade I’m going to let
this marinate while the ninja Grill is
heating up so we’re going to do the
chicken first cuz it takes the longest
and then we’ll do the shrimp cuz it
don’t take long at all so let me get the
ninja heated up and then it’ll be time
to put this on the grill now it’s time
to add the chicken to the
grill oh
L this should Sizzle real
good like I thought cuz it’s hot I’ve
got it on the
500° it ain’t going to take long to get
this chicken done
I’m going load up some shrimp and put on
here here in just a
second now let’s get the shrimp ready to
roll I’m just going to basically put a
little bit of slap your mama on the
shrimp and mix it all around and then
add a little bit of
zans and mix that all
around I do not have any type of basket
or anything to put on this Grill inside
here so I am going to be dropping them
on here in a minute once the chicken
gets done and it ain’t going to take
long it might be a little bit more stap
your mom on it cuz y’all know we like it
spicy a little bit of butter would not
be bad but we’ll have to see how this
handles so let’s get everything on the
grill here in just a minute and this is
actually looking really good I’ve only
did it a few minutes and it’s ready to
flip so I’m going to go ahead and turn
these over start this Grill back up and
once the chicken gets done we will be
putting some shrimp on the barbie
and the chicken is looking mighty good
it’s time to take this off I do believe
and let’s get some
shrimp on the grill real quick it won’t
take long cuz that Grill is already hot
I’m going to go ahead and put some of my
shrimp that I have on
skewers on the
grill and I’ve got a few that are still
off the skewers I might fit on for a
second run and then we’ll finish up the
last little bit and then it’ll be time
to
eat and here is what the grilling plate
looks like tonight shrimp and Peruvian
chicken breast let’s get these on the
plate cuz you know the eating is going
to be good this surf and turf is truly
one of my favorites that chicken is so
moist and the shrimp with that slap your
mama and zans is flavorful but not
overly spicy it is is the right
combination and so easy to make guys
this is a great grilling recipe surf and
turf you’ve got to try
it I went ahead and got a bunch of these
are really thin
cut uh pork ribs with the long bone in
them but they were on sale for like5 $6
I couldn’t pass them up I’ve got them
marinating in D’s I’ve had them
marinated for almost an hour flipping
them back and forth that way they get
good marinade I’ve got me some mixed
green straight out of the can and some
blackeyed peas back there about to start
heating up and this is about to go on
the grill the grill has finally hit 500°
and I’m going to go ahead and put the
pork chops on there and now thin pork
chops they’re not going to take long at
all and I don’t want to overcook these
cuz these are not going to take for a
minute to cook they are super thin I
didn’t realize they were so thin but
that is not going to take but a minute
let me go ahead and get all these cooked
real quick and I’ll bring you back and
show you what the whole meal looks like
and I basically cooked each pork chop
about a minute and a half on each side
cuz they are so
thin look at that beautiful pork chops
so let’s get everything plated up and
this is our favorite way to eat pork
chops marinated in dal’s it is truly the
best way to do a grilled pork chop
and we’re going to make some alote on
the cob today two for each person if
you’re using the little ones is plenty a
full size corn if you’re not using the
little ones it’s plenty for each person
you’ll need your corn on the cob the
Mexican mayonnaise which has the lime in
it tastes
amazing some red top
adobo a little bit of chili powder and
COA cheese c o t i j a I hope you can
see that real well that is the cheese
that you put on
this and I have everything ready I’ve
got the
grill about to start
up and then these go on the grill for
like 5 minutes you flip them and then
it’ll be ready to finish the rest of the
lot tape I’m go ahead and put the corn
on the grill I’m going to wind up
turning it at least once if not two or
three times I usually do about about 2
minutes on each side and then keep
rolling it down the grill so let’s go
ahead and get this on for about 2
minutes I wound up doing three and three
on each side and they’re not as brown as
I’d like them but they’re nice and done
on a real Grill they get nice and burn
and it looks so good this one doesn’t
always get them that way but it’s time
to get them out and get them covered so
let’s go ahead and get these covered and
smothered the one thing that you’re
going to need to do is get the
mayonnaise and I know you’re going to
say what trust me there’s just something
about
it it makes these corn on the cobs taste
so
good and I just basically layer them up
to where the cheese will
adhere to the actual corn and I know
that sounds really weird and people will
be going like what but if you ever had a
lote you know you know how good this is
now the next thing you
want is the
adobo you want some red top adobo and
what I do is I basically just move the
corn
around
and do a little light little
drizzle like that
now the next thing is going to be
getting the ca cheese on them what I
like to
do is get a
bowl put the CIA in
it and then roll it in the CIA and it
will stick to whatever mayonnaise
product you’ve got on it now the last
thing you want to
do is put a dab of chili powder on them
and what I usually do is lay them all
down
and then do a little layer of chili
powder and then flip
[Music]
them now if you like them a little
spicier you put more if you don’t like
them as spicy you put less and if you’ve
never tried Mexican street corn you
definitely should try this they are so
good we love it it is amazing
and tonight we’re going to try some
Cajun butter bourbon steak I have got a
New York strip Angus beef steak which
I’m going to basically cut this up into
strips so Danny and I can eat um I’ve
got some brown sugar I’ve got a little
bourbon I’ve got some minced garlic for
the C for the Cajun spice that is I’m
going to mix some slap your mama and
some zarin’s Creole cuz the last time I
used just slap your mama it got a little
bit spicy so I’m going to do a little
bit of both mixed little olive oil some
salt some mustard some dark soy sauce
which I’ve got some tamari that I need
to use up and a little bit of butter and
I believe that’s about it I’m not going
to use the red pepper flake because you
know slap your mama is spicy
enough and I do have some black pepper
that I’m going to be putting in there
let’s go ahead and get the SP spices on
the steak so we can start with the rest
of the ingredients for tonight’s supper
I’ve got this beautiful steak out of the
wrapper and it is beautiful I’m going to
go ahead and put some of the different
Cajun seasonings I’ve got right here on
the steak a little bit of the zatan
Creole and a little bit of the slap your
mama and I’m talking just a little bit
cuz this stuff is spicy on both sides
that way this will be ready to go into
the fridge and marinade while I mix up
the rest of the wet ingredients for
whenever I put it on the grill to fry it
up and let’s go ahead and get the
marinade the wet marinade that is ready
for the steak four cup of dark brown
sugar 2 tspoons of The Bourbon of your
choice or you can leave it out if you
don’t want any bourbon in it but I’m
hoping it’ll give it some good
flavor I’ve got four garlic cloves going
in and I’ve got some olive oil going in
next dark soy
sauce I’ve got some grain mustard going
in next and I am going to mix a little
bit of the Cajun seasoning in there both
of the kinds that way it’s not too front
and center with the spicy one and I’m
going to go ahead and mix this
up that way you can make a great
marinade for that
steak the instructions say to put the
meat in and let it marinate made for up
to 30 minutes I’m going to put it in and
flip it halfway while the air fryer is
heating up and that’s going to be all
it’s going to have and then I can use
some of this to brush the steak with
later let’s go ahead and get the air
fryer started up and then I’ll flip this
halfway while it’s getting ready the
ninja air fryer is ready to go let’s go
ahead and get this thing added
in and get the steak started searing I
want you to hear this sear up whenever I
put it on here
I love this thing let’s go ahead and put
it in maybe three and three or four and
four we’ll see what we need I’ll bring
you back when I take it out and I’ve got
the steak ready to come out it is really
good I of course cut it in the middle
that way I could kind of tell what the
middle is that way I can make sure it’s
about a medium to medium rare and it’s
looking really really good I have
prepared some of the Cajun seasoning and
put a little bit of butter in
it or the Cajun mix that is the marinade
mix and put some butter in it and warmed
it up now what you do is you
either use a brush and brush it on or it
says to just pour it on which is what
I’m going to do I’ve got it in a bowl
I’m going to go ahead and pour it on and
while this is resting for a few minutes
while I get the rest of the plates ready
this oh smells amazing guys oh my whole
kitchen smells so good right now
but let me go ahead and get the plates
ready and we’re going to dig into some
great steak and this steak preparation
was so simple and this was truly
probably the best if not one of the best
steaks I have ever ate in my life even
Danny was raving about how good this
steak was this is now my favorite way to
prepare steak you’ve got to try it you
will not be disappointed it is so good

Thanks Susan, I somehow bought an excess of chicken last shopping day and those chicken kebobs look so good I can't wait to try them.

We really like grilled burgers. I’ll have to try the Crack Burgers next time we grill. ❤
