Nothing says hello Summer like Connecticut LOBSTAH SLIDERS W/ LOTS OF BUTTAH BABY ❤️ I can not stress this enough, if you make only one of our recipes make this one! It came out so delicious, light, and flavorful. It could be hard to cook lobsters because you don’t want to over cook them which leads to a tough/rubbery lobster, but luckily for us I learned from my Dad when we were little. We had an apartment at the Jersey Shore when were kids and my father would go back and forth to work so my mother would cook all the time during the summer! She hated making the lobsters because they were so annoying to clean and cook so my Dad always did it and he taught me how to! We like to use every part of the lobster and sometimes we keep those shells for making a home made fish broth! Luckily for us ShopRite had these bad boys on sale and we were shocked because they don’t go on sale often but very happy because the meat was lacking a little lol! Making them on the Hawaiian rolls and keeping those lobster pieces as large chunks were such a good tips from my love, it complimented the dish so well! Connecticut Style Lobster Sliders
– (3) 1 lb lobsters
– 2 lobster tails
– 1 stick of unsalted butter
– 4 scallions (green part only)
– 1 pack of King’s Hawaiian Rolls
– Old Bay seasoning to taste
all right baby doll what do we got so we
got one of my true favorites Connecticut
style Lobster oh my God I don’t know
where to go either you oh the lobster
good thing I bought the two extra
lobster tails that I already chopped
because this ain’t gonna cut it on one
mind loaded I want mine loaded so what
we need this is three one pound lobsters
okay I steamed them and uh took them out
of the shell I have some fresh
scallions because you’re usually
supposed to use chives with this but is
it me or is there a chive shortage
nobody has chives this is all our
motherlanders so you we make dip but
nobody has the chives I’ve been looking
for them uh butter
uh half of juice of a lemon Old Bay
seasoning and I have I bought these Old
Bay chips to go with them that sounds
great right with a lobster roll and of
course King’s Hawaiian we’re gonna do
Connecticut
lobster roll sliders you slid that red
out I love it okay all right good let’s
go let’s go let’s go let’s go we’re
gonna chop our Lobster first
hates me with a knife just don’t break
those fingernails because then it’s a
lot of money
and you don’t want to cut the pieces too
small because you want a nice chunk of
lobster because I don’t look I’m gonna
do that in half because this this is
good big the claws probably did it I’m
just doing it no you can’t have no we
need sorry oh my God this is um
this is I need this for my lobster salad

oh my God hey you could have a tiny uh

um
so this is Connecticut Style with just
butter
right right a little seasoning and lemon
and the uh chives which we don’t have
but we’re gonna use the green onions but
and I do do it with the Mayo too what do
you call that style
with the Mayo with the Mayo what is that
New England New England yeah maybe
somebody from uh from one of the Iowa
media Outlets to tell us okay now those
pieces were already small so this is all
you get from three whole lobsters and
two lobster tails and that’s all we got
all right so now we’re going to the
stove so yeah wait we’ll be back
all right baby don’t talk to me okay so
this is so simple all I’m doing is
heating up a stick of butter okay
oh I know this is definitely not on the
diet menu I remember with the Trader
Joe’s I said I was gonna meal prep I
didn’t do it but I’m gonna your meal
prepping but just yeah this is not
counted the calories so I’m gonna
squeeze a half of a fresh lemon
okay and then you could always add more
lemon after if you want but I think that
was a nice juicy lemon so this is all
nice
and melted so I’m gonna throw in my
Lobster and we’re not cooking anything
here it’s already cooked the lobster
we’re basically heating it up oh yeah
yeah okay now uh Old Bay is optional we
love Old Bay you can serve it just like
this or you can use the Old Bay right
you like a little bag just a little bit
yes I do
sprinkle that on
so basically all we really do is just
heating this through
right yeah the most work on this is um
steaming them taking them out of the
shelves after their steam that’s the
most work sounds good to me
and you can even do this with shrimp
it’s delicious too crab meat crab meat
shrimp I think we gotta do the crab meat
with the mayonnaise one how’s that sound
yeah
right right I think we will with the
crab that’s good with the crab course
that one
right yeah and this for like two minutes
that’s it you’re done
all right so we’re going to heat this
through and then we’re gonna toast our
Hawaiian rolls
okay so maudo’s doing the rolls for me
I’m gonna put a little butter on the pan
toast this side toast outside and then
we’ll put the I can’t even say my mouth
is watering we’ll show you Lobster
inside it’s gonna be delicious

so I put about a tablespoon of butter
I’m gonna toast these first the tops and
then I’m gonna do the bottoms just the
same I’m gonna put the whole thing
together like a big lobster sandwich

okay I’m letting my love finish it off

then the scallions uh the maybe just put
it on half
because I don’t know if Buddy’s gonna
like the scallions

OMG i love lobster rolls ive only ever had the ones with mayo though. Im going to try it this way. It would be lighter and sounds wnd looks delicious

The one with mayo is just “lobstah salad” I’ve heard this CT style lobstah also referred to as hot lobstah salad. Mayo is cold hot is with buttah! I love the accent I’m from MA and as I’m sure you already know we have a similar accent lol
