This was quick and easy to whip up, I ended up eating 2 avocado croissant slices, 2 deviled egg slices, 2 bacon slices, 2 watermelon slices, and some berries for a total of ~400 calories. And another 250 calories of champagne with a ✨spritz✨of pineapple juice.

This cost about €10 not including the champagne (which was €3 euro a bottle because wine is so cheap in Italy) and was delicious! Everyone was so impressed when I brought out the spread!

For the avocado croissant I mashed up 1 medium avocado with juice from 1/3 of a lemon and salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.

The deviled eggs were made with 0% greek yogurt instead of mayo and I added some ground mustard and a splash of hot sauce. Everyone was surprised when I told them they were “healthy” deviled eggs and had no mayo, honestly you can’t tell at all in deviled eggs. The taste of everything else overpowers any taste from the mayo, it’s just there to make it spread easy.

This could have been made with much fewer calories with keto bread and less avocado per slice, but my friends aren’t on a diet and it’s Sunday brunch. This leaves me with 550 calories left for the rest of the day but I went on a pretty steep hike to add in another 150 calories to my budget.

All in all this was a pretty great meal for me because I got to enjoy myself without feeling like I was restricting while still staying at net 1200 at the end of the day. Plus I spent less for all 3 of our drinks and meals than I would have on an individual plate for myself. Win win win!
