Another day of being an almost 40 year old washed up dad on the weekend 😂.

2 prime briskets from Costco.

Didn’t trim anything, rubbed down with Worcestershire sauce, followed by holy gospel and brisket rub. Let it sit on the counter for about an hour before tossing them in the Traeger @ 225. Used a water pan inside the Traeger, still don’t know if it makes a difference.

4.5 hours in, tri tips hit 160ish, so I tossed them into a pan with some beef broth. Bumped the temp up on the Traeger to 275, tri tips hit 200ish in about 2.5 hours after that.

I only let them rest for about 30 min, cause yeah it was dinner time. Don’t mind the “juices” on the cutting board, a lot of it is the beef broth from what it was sitting in. Came out tender and flavorful! Cheers 🍻!

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

I’m always curious to try this, although tri tip doesn’t seem to have enough fat to keep it from drying out or falling apart.
