So, I wanted to inquire with fellow bakers about Brian Levy’s red velvet cake recipe! I’ve seen several reviews and recommendations of Stella’s but have yall tried Brian’s? How was the experience? Taste? And overall thoughts?!

I haven’t made this recipe but a red velvet cake is not a chocolate cake, and this is a chocolate cake recipe with red dye, to be frank.
Chocolate flavor is not the goal. The goal is tangy fluffy cake. The cocoa powder is not and should not be the star of the show.
