PNW (8b) people, when are you putting your plants outside?
I hear some people suggest mid May, others say mid April… I am curious to see what folks in the PNW have been successful with. The biggest obstacle tends to be the never ending cold nights.

Largest healthiest peppers eggplant and tomatoes went out today after a week of hardening. Rest will go out when they’re bigger or nights are warmer, whichever comes first

I use the Farmer’s Almanac. Whatever they have as my last frost date I add 1 week. Done it this way for years and years and it’s served me well. This year my date is May 4th so I’ll be looking to get them out the second weekend of May.

Honestly, with that set up, if you can move them out during the day and back in at night, it’ll give them a jumpstart to when you finally do move them for the season, plus you can move them around and see where they’re thriving the most. They look great! Good luck!

Mine have already been out a few weeks and they’re doing fine. I’m in 8a though

The Fathers Day hail storm last year… haunts me in my sleep. I’ve been watching the soil temps, thought I’d have my tomatoes in the ground already but this chill / rain has me waiting.
Peps go in for me around mid May, raised beds for those though.

Never. I live in a Nordic country with limited summer and chili killing winter.
