This is the second time I’ve ordered the ranch steak the first time it was this color and smelled bad. The second time it is also this dark color. That’s not normal correct?

I get mine from Everyplate and it always looks like that.

Colour is fine, smell sometimes happens from the packaging process—if you open the pack and let it air out for 5 minutes, does it still smell?
