Broil king baron 4 burner grill model 9221-54 is about 4.5 yrs old and I just received new burners in the mail covered under warranty. I read all the instructions and got all 4 burners out, but it looks like the little “tube” which connects to the burner knob and supplies the propane snapped off inside the end of one of my old burners, see photo. I’m guessing whatever part is connected to the knob is one piece and needs to be replaced? It was just too far corroded and frozen it appears. What part is this and is it fairly easy to replace?

Also I tested out the other 3 burners I replaced and they all work, but when I turn the knobs from low flame to high flame there’s really not much noticeable difference, just a small blue flame coming from each hole… almost like they’re all permanently on the lowest flame setting and turning the knob does nothing. Also kinda tall orange flames around where the new burners contact the support bar where the igniters are. What’s up with that (both of those things)? Thanks!

That’s one of the valves. Don’t think BK have those individually you may have to replace the manifold. Should be covered under warranty. As for the flame, you could have a stuck regulator if using propane. Not sure if they are covered under warranty but they are cheap and easy to replace.
