Let’s Make Maroulosalata
 
Ingredients

* 2 hearts romaine lettuce
* 4-5 scallions, diced
* 1 bunch fresh dill, chopped
* 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
* 1/2 cup olive oil
* 1 large lemon, juiced
* 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
* Rinse your lettuce clean, then THINLY SLICE. Dry well in your salad spinner.
* Whisk together the oil, lemon juice, and salt until smooth and thick.  
* Place the first four ingredients in a large bowl.  Pour the dressing over the salad.  Toss all together and massage/scrunch the greens with your hands to infuse them with the rest of the ingredients and break down their rough characteristics.

Maroulosalata (Greek Lettuce Salad)

[Music] all right we’re going to make us a healthy snack we’re going to take some buttered flavored spray spray our pan then we are going to take in some Parmesan cheese like this we’re going to sprinkle it down on the pan don’t need too much cuz it’s just a little snack for me to tie me over till dinner and it’ll be healthier so I’m going to put this down going to get me some mushrooms now if you like mushrooms this is a really good one and I’m going to take and just layer them here in the um stuff here and these are going to be these are called mushroom chips although the mushrooms should be thinner than this because they don’t really taste like chips but that’s what they’re supposed to be so now we’re going to add a little bit of seasoning to this I like to add garlic pepper seasoning you you add whatever seasoning you like and then to the oven we go and then I take these and put them in the air fry oven on the pizza symbol which is 400 and 50° for 6 minutes and they turn out looking like this and then you just break them apart and you eat them and they are amazing if you need a healthy snack this is a good way to get your vegetables in you can trade this vegetable out for carrots or any other vegetables and they turn out absolutely awesome just make sure you add some seasoning that goes with this and oh my gosh they’ll make your tongue slap your face yes they will they are good if you like mushrooms they’re really good what we’re getting ready to make here is a Greek salad I can’t pronounce the name of this but I’ll put it up on the screen for you now what we’re going to do is is we’re going to take our half2 cup of olive oil put it in the bowl we’re going to take some lemon juice now it the recipe this is a new recipe for me I have not tried it so I’m going to use about that much lemon juice because I’m thinking it says one squeezed lemon and I think that that’s about how much juice you could get out of a lemon so it’s about just a little less than a/4 of a cup and we’re going to pour it in our bowl and then we’re going to add our salt now it says 1/4 teaspoon of salt now to me 1/4 teaspoon of salt is about that much we’re going to put that in there cuz you know you always end up with some on your hand anyway and then we’re supposed to whisk this together until smooth and thick it didn’t say how long to whisk it it just had to whisk it until smooth and thick that looks that looks thick to [Music] me I don’t know we’ll see we’ll come back and do this some [Music] more and then we’re going to set that to the side okay cuz now we’re going to get our large bowl out and we’re going to place in it we’re going to place our Romain lettuce now you want your Romain lettuce to be uh chopped up small and you want it dried well now it says dry with a spinner I don’t have a spinner so this is what I’m doing and it says four hearts of remain this is what I had for remain it did not say not four hearts two hearts remain this is the remain lettuce I have so this is what I’m going to do with it put it in there I’m going to leave my water behind now it says put your first four ingredients in a large bowl which is your two hearts of rain your four to five diced scallions you dump them in there or chopped scallions and then the next one is is that a fresh bunch of Dill I don’t know how much a dill is cuz I don’t usually eat Dill but we’re trying this recipe cuz I’m supposed to be EA eating better so here we go I put that much in there I just took some and cut it and you guys I don’t know about Dill but can you take and eat the stems of the dill or are you just supposed to get them little fuzzy things off of it you let me know in the comment section below and then you’re going to take 4 oz of feta cheese that’s already crumbled and we’re going to add that to the salad now we’ve done that we’ve got all those ingredients in there and then it says pour the dressing so we’re going to take our dressing here I’m going whisk it one more time pour I put it in there now it says I got to find a place to put this thing it says to take and pour this over it and she said that her grandmother taught her to get her hand in there and mix this up really well and massage it into the stuff so we got to get our hands in here my hands are clean so we’re going to get in here and we’re going to massage this into the salad this the way she showed it being done and you want to make sure that you get it all in there mixed up really really good and this is what you call a Greek salad and it’s got a name but I can’t pronounce it and if y’all know what it is leave me a comment below and tell me I think I got a little too much uh I don’t know is this what it’s supposed to look like this is what I did I followed the recipe to the best of my abilities so we’re going to have this for dinner tonight we’re going to take and uh clean my fingers off get all the stuff back in the bowl cuz I don’t want to leave any of this behind if it tastes good but we’re going to leave the rest of this in the bowl cover it up and this is going with our dinner tonight I hope youall like this recipe thank you guys so much for joining us we
