me up I come by 8m and text to your DM if you’re lazy I got you girl I am a lazy girl at heart and in order for me to stay consistent for the past 7 months on my weight loss journey I needed to make sure that meal prepping was simple and easy because if it ain’t easy I ain’t doing it I I ain’t doing it so so I’m going to show you all the tips and tricks I use to make sure that my meal prep is a breeze baby I am not spending hours in the kitchen this takes me in total maybe about 30 minutes to prep all of my meals breakfast lunch and dinner all of the meals are delicious they are high in protein and fiber and will keep you full all day long if you’re in a calorie deficit these meals are under 1,600 calories and you can also emit the snack to make it even lower if you need to dip that low and if you’re really ambitious and you want to get this weight off so we’re just going to get right into it let’s get this meal prep going for the week okay first up is our breakfast and we’re making a delicious strawberry shortcake protein overnight oats this is so good you guys this tastes definitely like dessert I love it because it’s super hot in protein and it’s a great source of fiber so you’re going to stay full for a long time after eating this what I love about this meal is not only does it take minutes to make and set up and prep but it is absolutely delicious it literally tastes like a strawberry shortcake I use regular oldfashioned oatmeal quicker oats happens to be the brand that I use but I think you can use whatever brand that you like for the protein I am using oneup nutritions Strawberry Shortcake ice cream protein this one has 25 gram of protein and it’s 160 calories per scoop so you’re going to stay nice and full and you’re going to get your protein dose for the morning so let’s get started with that [Music] oh [Music] [Music] all right so now that we’ve done our breakfast next up is lunch baby lunch is super simple we’re actually going to have a nice Garden salad with grilled chicken boiled eggs and some cherry tomatoes what makes this even easier for me I use already boiled eggs first and foremost I’m using a triple washed Garden salad that has your regular iceberg lettuce red cabbage and carrot but you can actually get any type of lettuce you want you can also use spinach or just a mixed spring salad it’s really your choice it’s your option but I love getting these from Sam’s Club I am a Sam’s Club girl Sam’s Club and Costco I prefer Costco I love Costco but there’s just some things that I can get from Sam’s Club that just makes life so much easier the other thing that I do once a week is I do grab these preg grilled Italian herb chicken these are so good you actually don’t need to add any seasoning to them they’re completely seasoned they’re super juicy and they’re freshly made we’re just going to cut this up and add this to our salad bowl pack them in our lunch boxes and we’re done we’re done now you can most certainly get you some raw chicken season it up go ahead and put it in the oven and do all of that stuff but I ain’t doing all of that I don’t have the time so if you’re like me and you don’t have the time and you want to save on doing all of that you’re literally just taking the chicken chopping it up taking your eggs chopping it up putting the salad in the bowl closing up the container and you are done baby lunch is done for the entire week tell me youall tell me an easier meal prep video on YouTube I’ll wait yeah yeah okay so for our cheese I love feta cheese I just got this big container of feta cheese from Sam’s Club it’s about 70 calories for 28 G and then for dressing I love Olive Garden salads for the most part if I go to Olive Garden I’m going to Olive Garden for the salad and the bread sticks and so I got the Olive Garden salad dressing is the signature Italian it is about 80 calories for 2 tbsp or 31 G okay guys for our salad we are going to be using this really cute salad lunch box that I got off of Amazon I’ll link it down below for you guys what I love about it is that it has this compartment that you can use to separate your protein any of your croutons or any other size that you want to add to your salad that prevents your salad from getting soggy and just yucky it also has this cute little cup inside that you can put your salad dressing in to keep everything separated and it’s a perfect serving size I believe it’s 2 tablespoons of dressing these compartments are all removable so you can take this part out and you can sit it on your scale and weigh all of your ingredients and then after that you pop it right in here get your salad dressing in and then you have a perfect portioned salad so let’s get started packing our lunch for the [Music] week doing my taking a moment to bre feeling dress out give it a good I put that on good when it gets cold stay on my job like days so [Music] you catch a break give a pretty brown girl space you can keep your I’m make a better hey hey already got the world on me a pretty brown girl you can keep your I’m going make a better way hey hey [Music] better Mom and Dad’s only daughter do I make you proud My Life lyrics to your life seeking me [Music] give it a good put that on good when it get stay on my job like no okay guys so next up is going to be my favorite which is my yogurt parfait Bowl I just really really love this snack it never gets old to me you can swap out the berries for raspberries strawberries blueberries whatever you like like in today’s video we’re going to be using some fresh raspberries and I always always always use the oos trip zero Greek yogurt I really like this one because it has 15 g of protein it’s already prepackaged and it’s 90 calories you really can’t beat that for my granola because I’m trying to prioritize fiber like I said in the past I use the kind cinnamon oat granola with flax seeds it gives you the perfect amount of sweetness a nice amount of crunch for some texture and like I said this never gets old to me you can also drizzle a little bit of Honey on top of it if you have extra calories to play with and it just really like sets the tone okay so to make this even easier and more convenient I’m going to use these little cute yogurt parfait bowls that I got off of Amazon so adorable I’ll link them down below but I love these because not only is it a nice large capacity so that way you can really customize how much you want to take so as I continue on my journey when I’m upping my calories a little more especially when I’m like going to be lifting weights and things like that which I will be doing soon I can actually put a little bit more yogurt and fruit it just allows me a little bit more space I believe it’s 22 oz it also has the separator at the top where I can put my granola to make sure that it doesn’t get soggy cuz who wants soggy granola not I not I and the other thing that I love is that it comes with the spoon already that just attaches on the side and it just makes it super easy and it’s leak proof so nothing comes out it’s just snaps everything is perfect and this is acrylic if you can hear it little ASMR but it’s acrylic so it’s really great quality and I’ve run these in the dishwasher and they do amazing I just would recommend washing everything on the top rack if you’re going to use your dishwasher to clean them [Music] o [Music] isn’t this so pretty yeah this is just the perfect little container to put your yogurt parfait in because you get to keep everything separated and it all is leak proof it all snaps together and the best thing of all is that my granola won’t get soggy I’ve had soggy granola it is not a good look okay so perfect little lunch snack and ready to go for the whole week so next up you guys is dinner if you watched my what I eat in a day this is the same exact dinner it’s going to be salmon some rice and some fire roasted vegetables listen you guys already know this is super simple the thing about this is the only meal that you’re actually cooking so to speak for the day so this really shouldn’t take long I’m going to pop four pieces of salmon into the air fryer it’s going to take about 20 minutes max cuz I don’t overcook my salmon I might put it in there for about 15 to 16 minutes that’s number one my veggies are going to saut up in about 5 minutes or so and this we’re not even going to cook we’re actually just going to separate it and weigh it out in between all of my lunch bowls I’m doing four days at a time but you’re more than welcome to do five days it’s like a perfect work week so we’re going to use two of these cuz I’m going to split each one in half the rice that I use is the seeds of change it is the organic quinoa and brown rice with garlic this is for my easy girls this is for the ones who just want to get this over with and done with all of this should really take you no more than 30 minutes as a tip I would go ahead and prep your salmon and your veggies first when you start your meal prep pop those into the oven and start sautéing because the rest of this is going to take like 10 minutes max so it’s probably less than 30 minutes to prep all of this stuff but you kind of do it how you please it’s really up to you but that’s how I would do it to save the most time and get my meal prep out of the way in 30 minutes or less for the entire week it don’t get no easier than that y’all it don’t get no easier than that I’m telling you I got y’all I got y’all okay so I get my salmon from Sam’s Club they’re actually pre portioned salmon so I don’t have to cut it or anything like that if you want to take the extra few times to just get a slab of salmon and slice them up you’re more than welcome to do that but we all know I ain’t doing it you could do what I ain’t doing it and then for my veggies I actually use this brand right here I get this from Costco this is the purita fire roasted Prima Vera mura I don’t know but whatever but it has broccoli yellow and green Italian squash red bell pepper and red onions and it has a little bit of avocado oil some pink salt um I’m always always always going to still season my food okay if y’all don’t like it y’all got to go to another Channel I’m seasoning my food okay so this is what I use super simple it’s already cut up for me and I don’t have to spend 15 to 20 minutes cutting up all of my vegetables I just don’t have the time for that so a quick tip is for you to find flash frozen fresh vegetables that all you have to do is drop it in the pan salt ham up and that’s it that’s all [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] a [Music] so that’s it guys we’ve done our meal prep for the entire week and we didn’t even break a sweat now I know that I’m going to make the right decisions every single day and I’m going to stay on track because I have my breakfast my lunch my dinner and snack and it’s going to keep me full for the entire day I’m not going to have any Cravings I’m not going to want any more than what I already ate for the day and that’s going to keep me consistent and that’s going to get me to my goals you guys we are in this for the Long Haul we’re not stopping starting stopping starting we’re trying to make this as simple and as easy as possible so that we can stay consistent and we can reach the goals that we want to reach so the total calories for each day is coming in at 1530 calories I try to stay under 1,600 I do try to get as close to, 1600 as possible because I’m extremely active at the moment and by the time I do my walk every single day Pilates and just walk around and do everyday life I’m going to dip quite a bit below that and that’s what’s allowing me to stay in my deficit to burn fat and hit the goals that I’m trying to hit if you are wanting to be aggressive and you want to drop below the, 1500 if you want to be in about the 1,200 calorie range you can always omit the snack which is the yogurt parfait Bowl everybody is different if you’re shorter than me then maybe having the snack is not an option or you can always alter the amount of chicken the amount of grains that you’re having you can always alter remove or add if you need to whatever makes it work best for for you because remember we’re weighing it anyway so you have the choice to maybe use a little bit less chicken a little bit less rice eliminate the snack add the snack add a little bit more if you’re needing to get to more than 1,600 calories you have the choice this is not something that you have to do exactly how I do it I’ve never really understood why people measure everything on the scale together. If I had to guess, do you go by the amount per serving number (ie. 36g) on the label and add each ingredient accordingly?
