Does hickory usually have a lingering after taste? Best I can compare it to is a really mild heat.

2nd tri tip. Bark on this one is weak, but it’ll still make a turd.

    Smoked @ 225 until internal hit 195. Wrapped in tinfoil and put back on until 205. Unwrapped to let the bark set again (that wasn’t hugely successful). Let rest for 30 min.
