Stir-fried rice noodles with chicken and napa cabbage: easy, to make with the same noodles as in Vietnamese soup PHO

👩‍🍳Ingredients for 3 people:
Marinade:
500g chicken thighs
A pinch of salt
A pinch of ground pepper
½ tbsp light soy sauce
½ tsp dark soy sauce
½ tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp vegetable oil

400g fresh rice noodles
or 350g dehydrated rice noodles
250g napa cabbage
100g mushrooms
1 carrot
1 onion
2 spring onions
10g cilantro
5 garlic cloves
½ tbsp grated ginger
1 tsp sesame oil
4 tbsp vegetable oil
A pinch of toasted sesame seeds

Seasoning sauce:
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground pepper

today I’m going to show you how to stir fry rice noodles with chicken and Napa cabbage to make this recipe I use the same rice noodles as those in Vietnamese for soup for this dish I take fresh and large noodles if you don’t you don’t have any you can also use dehydrated ones just soak them in water for 2 hours then drain them to marinate the chicken thighs remove the skin and bones cut them into 1.5 centimeters wide pieces put them in a mixing bowl then add a pinch of salt a pinch of ground pepper half tablespoon of light soy sauce half teaspoon of dark soy sauce half tablespoon of oyster sauce 1 teaspoon of cornstarch one tablespoon of vegetable oil mix to starch will make the chicken pieces very tender while keeping them choosy keep aside take 250 grams of Napa cabbage it is very tender and its taste is very light watch them and cut them into chunks also cut 100 grams of mushrooms 1 carrot in julienne 1 onion in chunks onions and 10 grams of cilantro into sections chop 5 cloves of garlic [Music] create a piece of ginger take half tablespoon now prepare the seasoning sauce in a bowl put 2 tbsp of light soy sauce one tablespoon of vegetable sauce 1 4 teaspoon of salt 1 4 teaspoon of ground pepper combined everything is ready we can start cooking in the frying pan heat it over high heat put 2 tbsp of vegetable oil when the oil is hot add the half the chopped garlic and half the grated Ginger stir for 10 seconds put the chicken pieces spread them well bring the pieces of garlic and ginger over the chicken to prevent them from burning let’s sear for one minute the surface of the chicken becomes golden and tasty turn them over and leave them for another minute then stir for 30 seconds keep aside you know same pan put 2 tbsp of vegetable oil heat it over high heat when the oil is hot add the other half of chopped garlic and grated Ginger stir when they start to be gone done add the onion and the carrot stir for one minute add the Napa cabbage and the mushrooms these two vegetables will provide water to soften and cook the rice noodles properly briefly stir put the seasoning sauce pull it from stir add the rice noodles stir for 3 minutes test a piece of noodle to check that they will cook and tender if needed add a little water put the chicken stir for 1 minute add one teaspoon of sesame oil the spring onion and the cilantro briefly stir and cut the fryer serve the place of the guests [Music] sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds let’s see [Music] the rice noodles cooked with the sauce and juice of Napa cabbage and mushrooms the dish is delicious and it makes us eat a lot of vegetables foreign [Music] thank you and see you at the next homemade dish on Morgan recipes
