Greetings and Salutations Good People! We are back with another great video! Today, we are tackling a pricey but delicious treat, the Crab Cake. These mugs can cost anywhere from $25 to $40 bucks depending on the restaurant. However, if make correctly, you quickly forget about the price and fall deep into Crab Cake Heaven lol. Also, we will be making one into Burger. A “Crabby Patty” if you will. Come on with me!

What you will need:
1 Large Egg
2 Tablespoons Mayo
1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
1/4 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons Fresh Chopped Parsley
1/2 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
8 Oz Jumbo Lump Crab Meat (I used pre packaged)
Zest of half a lemon
2 Tablespoons Butter
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil
Seasonings: Old Bay, Salt, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper and Garlic Powder
Notes: Be sure to rinse your crab meat if using pre packaged. The solution they store the meat in will cause your crab cakes to fall apart. There are tons of recipes for dipping sauces, but I wanted to focus on the crab cakes for this episode. As a challenge, find yourself a sauce recipe and make on your own to go with these! Making a Burger out of these was a game changer. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10!

button for your boy for real crabcakes AKA The Crabby pack SpongeBob me boy a delicious delicacy of monumental proportions this some times overpriced appetizer is so good it will make you forget how much it cost in the first place that’s if it’s made right I had to taste for some today so I figured I’d take a swing out and for some reason I kind of want to see what it’s like as a burger that’s right we making a krabby PTY for real so what we going to need got some jumbo lump crab meat of course you feel me got some PCO bread crumbs some mayo some djon mustard got some fresh parsley got old B pepper salt Wisher sauce and some garlic powder and the Egg I almost forgot about the egg also almost forgot zest of AEM and that’s it man we going to take all this hook it on up come on with all right good people welcome back welcome back man it’s good to see you again appreciate you stopping by today we F to cook some good old crab cakes started out with one egg beaten and we going to add 2 tablespoons of mayo I know some of yall don’t like Mayo but it’s critical for the recipe so just B with me you dig and we got 1 tbspoon of dij mustard and then we got a half of a teaspoon of a Old Bay you know what I’m saying for your hair toop and we just get that a good old wisp you know what I’m saying just like so put your elbow in there feel me we go add one tablespoon of wor sauce and you’ll whisp that in as well I probably could do that in from the beginning but I forgot in full transparency right now we got 8 oz of jumbo lump crab meat you want jumbo kind you know what I’m saying and then as an extra added measure go and get us a good rinse I did not do this and I believe it it uh you know Tri me up later on I’m going to tell you exactly how but if you had the create go rinse it first you know what I’m saying Pat it dry and then continue and then we added a half a cup of panko breadcrumb 1 tbspoon of fresh parsley uh we got zest of a lemon lemon and then we got some salt some garlic powder and then some good old Pepper for your hair top you just want to season that to taste I might put some measurements down in the description box but for real you just want to throw it in there until you feel like you know it’s where it needs to be and then we going to add in our mixture from earlier just like so and then you want to very gently you know what I’m saying very gently like fold this together now the reason why you want to fold as opposed to just full on mixing is you’re trying to keep your crab meat you know what I’m saying nice and whole so you can get that good lump crab meat you know what I’m saying effect I went through some more parts up in there I feel like could have been a little bit more green yeah yeah yeah just like that be careful don’t be sorry be careful all right and then now you know you got to to your desire mixture I’m going add me a little smoked Pap in there because I just felt like it could use it little cayenne pepper you can skip that if you like you know what I’m saying if you if you adverse to heat you know me I I like a little kit actually these could have been a little bit more spicy real and we’re going to go ahead and continue to fold that together some of my lump crab cake started to break up but it’s all good I’m going cover this with four and I stuck it in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes so it can get cold and can gel together make it it easier to form you feel me I broke out my burger press if you don’t have a burger press at home that’s cool you can just Pat these together just like you would with some you know good old burger patties traditional but I’m going use a burger press because I was trying to get some uniformity you know what I’m saying it’s all about the presentation man you know what I’m saying the Aesthetics got to be right you feel me what I’m saying you’ll take that and just Mash this down now I was being shy at first but you really want to get this some pressure man and then it helps if you twist as you press helps it release you know what I’m saying I learned that as I went and then you just want to pop that out the bottom and then just slide that onto your plate like so and then it’s on to the next I’m going to do one more just so you can see what I’m what I’m doing here you can get this burger press I believe I got this off Amazon or something like this this ain’t a this ain’t an ad or nothing but you know comes in handy and then we repeat that process we just go ahead and you know put the desired amount of mixture in there give it a good press a good twist know what I’m saying put a little put a little STR on it get a off and then release just like so now we got our pan on medium heat and you want to let that c on up the temperature and we have about 3 tbspoon of olive oil and then about a tablespoon of unsalted butter butter just want mix it around like so and then I’ll be honest here’s where it started to get a little you know a little little little complicated man see I feel like because I didn’t rinse my lump crab meat off it’s not allowing the egg mixture to allow everything to stick together you know what I mean they they preserve that lump crab meat and you know some kind of a solution and I believe it’s being counteractive to the egg solution you feel me this is very scientific I know this uh you know but for real though what you want to do is just give it a good rinse like I said earlier and I think you’ll be good to go after that all right now you want to let this be you know cooked on one side I let it go about four or 5 minutes again we on medium heat and then we’ll go ahead and get us a flip I had to be very careful cuz I was trying not to let these break up even further so I broke out two spatulas you know what I’m saying check my footwork or hand work and then you know almost almost messed it up but the Dismount these next two they wasn’t so fortunate man but you know we got the job done you feel me that’s what cooking is all about man trial and error you know what I’m saying you learn as you go lost a piece of crab meat but it’s all good that’s because these are brolic with crab meat you know what I’m saying none of that skimpy stuff crab meat all up and through there you dig yeah yeah yeah just like that and then you just want to let it cook on the other side for about another four to five minutes you know uh obviously you know chicken heat that’s why we’re doing medium heat so we going Scorch the outside want to let this cook on through and then you want to go and plate that thing up like so very gently like very Gentile yeah yeah yeah just like that just like [Music] that right going to with a little lemon lemon and a little fresh parsley for hair top you know what I’m saying and now we in the game baby yeah look how beautiful that is boy you know what I’m saying like a restaurant appetizer for your hair tip charge about $40 for this you know what I’m saying don’t even worry about it and then you know next up we going to go ahead and hook it up as a sand match as a s match you dig bun down toasted of course you know some butter little torta sauce a little spring mix you know what I’m saying a couple of fresh Purple Onion the Krabby Patti you know what I’m saying oh tomato and then top bun very soft as you can see look how beautiful that is boy that is a sandwich and a half you know what I’m saying and I know you want to bite I know you want to bite you wanted to bite the crab cake you want to bite the sandwich you just want to bite in general I know you do don’t deny it it’s okay but you can make this at the crib and you can get you one man you can get you one all right good people Moment of Truth time to test it out see what it do first up we just going to try to crab cake by itself little Tois sauce you feel me mhm M get off me that’s actually really good next up we going to try this [Music] sandwich MH that might be the best sandwich
