Is this a sucker I should prune?

    That isn’t a sucker, but a dubbele head. Tomatoes do that sometimes. Both are dominant. You could keep both if you wat too keep it, the roots could probably support two heads, specially since it’s a cheery. Would not recommend with larger fruits unless it is on a rootstock. But you could also cut it like a sucker and have one dominant stem.

    Yes, it’s a sucker, and no, you don’t have to prune it.

    I don’t prune until my plants hit 5 ft, and even then, I only prune from the top, to prevent them from growing beyond my reach. I leave alone all suckers below the 4 ft mark and let them grow out to produce more tomatoes.

    Yes the one you have circled would be considered the sucker if you are pruning all of the suckers. If you’re ever confused on which is the main growing stem look for which one has the flowers on it. Notice the main stem has a group of flowers just above the sucker you circled.
