Curious if anyone ever gets tomatoes that are actually ripe enough to count as food?
I usually just buy my own tomatoes for this reason but forgot this time. The crunch when slicing into this sad little pink and white thing…

You got to buy some tomatoes at the store that are ripe. And you sub those in when your box comes. The box tomatoes go into the ripening bowl, and we’ll be ready for the following week.

Every tomato I get is a little green and kind of slimy on the inside, i just cut it lengthwise and scoop out the middle stuff and give it a good rinse

My tomatoes are always ripe but they just have absolutely no flavor

Oddly I don’t think I’ve had tomatoes yet, other than grape tomatoes, and those have been fine.

Nope. Yellow/Greenish romas with a hint of pinkish/red.
They taste like nothing and sadness.

I always take the tomatoes out of the bags when they arrive and onto the counter to ripen
