Family missing out on Fancy Ramen Night! Twice!

My long roasting of my family’s choices got deleted but their utter wimpitude shall not go ignored!

I picked up a bunch of things on a whim because they were all on really good sales and thought “I bet this would make a good ramen!” but on every opportunity to make it something got in the way or it was too hot or too hard on the stomach or something. Balderdash!

After turning down Ramen for being “a hot soup” they jumped at the chance to have Progresso clam chowder! The scoundrels.

I made it for myself instead, on both occasions, to avoid the ingredients going bad. I think it turned out very well.

The base was Sapporo Ichiban normal with a bit of sauteed mushroom juice, bacon grease, and a tiny bit of chicken broth.

I made the ramen eggs first and let them soak while I did the rest. Toppings are sliced and sauteed white mushrooms, baby bok choy and green onion tops simmered in the broth, grocery store Char Sui, green onion bottoms, and a healthy amount of chili crisp, and both eggs since nobody else wanted one.
