Got this for $120 as my first grill. How did I do? Looking for tips for someone whose never grilled before.

That’s a steal! Now find a 22 Kettle and have the best of both worlds!

    Fantastic deal

Buy a meat thermometer n google what you want to eat. That’s how I learned

Keep grill away from house when using in addition to other good info above. The bbq Bible website is a good place learn.

Hell of a deal! Keep an extra propane canister on hand so you’re not screwed when this one runs out. Wait for the grill to reach temp and hold it for a bit before putting food on – you want the grates to heat all the way through. Clean the grill regularly, especially if you’re cooking fatty foods like burgers or pork steaks. Buy a grill cover. Doesn’t have to be a nice one, just something to keep it out of the rain. Finally, the marinade or dry brine makes the meat. Give it time to work its magic. The fattier the cut of meat, the longer it can sit in a marinade without drying out. Cheers and happy cooking!

I would buy a couple of Qwik-Char trays and turn it into a hybrid. Then you can do gas and charcoal at the same time.

Great deal! Keep the lid closed to keep the heat retained. Do not open to check as often as you’d like. Meat thermometer is a good call
