Growing several fancy heirlooms this year. This one is special to me though. It’s jut regular ol cherry tomato, but the seeds are from the first plant I ever harvested. During a heatwave I found it on the side of the road basically dead, nursed it back to health. That plant gave me 100s of tomatoes

    That’d actually be a pretty damn good name (and backstory) if you were to keep it growing out and selecting from it for a few years, imho.

    That’s an awesome story. As much as I love the taste of heirloom tomatoes, what I love most of all about them is the connection to history like this.
