First time I plant tomatoes! Very nice weather now here in Belgium. But next week all rain. I’m scared that the plant will become root bound if I wait another week with planting outside. It’ll be fine in that pot for another week. The rain might do more harm.
I would plant outside as long as temperatures are adequate. Transplanting followed by rain (no sun) will help root development.

Root bound has been way over used now days, it got a long way till then, months in that pot, even when a plant does get root bound or you think it does I dip mine in water to loosen the roots out before planting
