Hello there! I have these peppers from Last year; they produced enough peppers for me and my wife to eat, make some sauce etc; i live in a block apartment so i cant plant them outside; they lived through the winter and now they seem to revive themselves and produce new flowers and leaves; the problem now is that the stem of the plants are long and empty up until the tip, where new leaves are coming and flowers; do i have to cut the stems shorter in early spring? Or let them be as they are? Any advice? I fell that the plant is “consuming” a lot of resources just to keep thoese stems alive and it could use that energy for leaves and flowers, if they were shorter; pruning it at this point or something? Tyvm for help and sorry for my english! I added some pics too
