Off initial reactions, I had hopes that the flavor of these would slowly build to something spicier and more robust, but unfortunately they just didn’t…
.
They tasted good, but they didn’t taste like gochujang (Idk, maybe I got a bad bag). In my opinion, they just tasted like regular-salty kettle chips with a very muted sweet & spicy aftertaste/kick.
.
I feel gochujang should’ve been an easier flavor to replicate: given that it has such a uniquely distinct taste…These, however, fell flatter than my thin-white ass. Did I lose an arm or a leg eating these? No, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed.
.
I’ll give em a solid 5.5 to be nice. 😶😮💨

They’re not good. You didn’t get a bad bag. They’re a terrible bastardized excuse of any Korean flavored food
I tried them. They taste like bad barbecue flavoring. I was beyond disappointed. Truly awful.
Oh no! We bought them yesterday and haven’t tried them yet. I really liked the kbbq flavor and thought this would be similar.
You might find this [recent review](https://www.reddit.com/r/KoreanFood/s/es8TVKxNKd) interesting as well. It seems no one likes these chips!
I really liked them.
They taste like spicy Hawaiian chips. They def didn’t taste anything like gochujang.
