Spinach Puff recipe
ingredients
– 8 ounces cream cheese softened
– 2 large egg
– 2 tablespoon olive oil
– 4 cups fresh spinach chopped and
packed
– 1.5 cups crumbled feta
– 4 teaspoon bacon bits
– 2 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed
Instructions
Set to 400 F°.
In a medium bowl, add spinack feta and bacon bits. mic until combined well.
Add softened cream cheese, egg, oil, to mixture.Use a fork to mix and combine it together until well combined.
Cut each sheet of puff pastry into 12 squares and spread filling in a line along the center. Brush egg wash along 3 edges. Place the assembled puffs on a
parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool for 4-5 minutes

hi guys welcome to baking with brie today we’re going to be making some spinach [Music] Puffs in a medium to large bowl you’re going to be adding a cup and 1 half of crumbled feta and four teaspoons of bacon bits now I’m going to stir everything together until it’s fully combined now I’m going to be adding the 8 oz of cream cheese and we’re going to be mixing this with a fork so it becomes fully Incorporated with the spinach [Music] mixture when the ingredients begin to stick together that just means that everything is fully Incorporated and you’re ready to move on to the next step I’m now going to add two eggs into the mixture and stir it well until everything is fully combined [Music] we’re now going to be adding 2 teaspoon of olive oil [Music] using this puff pastry sheet we’re going to be cutting out 12 [Music] squares the size of the squares doesn’t necessarily matter it’s all up to you using a rolling pin we’re going to be rolling out each individual Square until it becomes pretty thin but you don’t want it to be too thin cuz once you add the filling it may fall [Music] apart as you can see here I’m adding the spinach mixture in the center of the puff pastry sheet now you’re going to want to leave a little bit of room on the outside so you’re able to fold it over [Music] using a pastry brush you’re going to have some egg wash here and brush it against three sides of your pastry now you’re going to want to leave one side with no egg wash cuz that is now going to be the opening of your [Music] Pastry as you can see here I’m going to pull the top end of the pastry dough towards myself and then I’m going to pull the bottom end upwards now your goal is to basically make a blanket make sure the filling is nice and secure you’re also going to need the bottom to be very secured so everything doesn’t leak [Music] out now we’re going to be repeating the same process you’re going to roll your dough out nice and thin not too thin so it doesn’t fall apart and then you’re going to fill it with your spinach filling not too much it will fall apart with your egg wash only on three corners and make sure to leave one open this is a different way to fold it but make sure everything is still super secure once you finish making everything set your oven to 400° and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes now that it’s it’s finished baking let it cool off for 4 to 5 minutes and then you can enjoy [Music] it thanks so much for baking with me today and see you next time
