Easy recipe for fried catfish using Louisiana fish fry breading.

Shopping List:
Fresh caught catfish filets
1 pkg. Louisiana seasoned crispy fish fry breading
2 eggs
1 tbsp. your favorite hot sauce
1 tsp your favorite Cajun seasoning
Enough cooking oil to cover the filets
Salt to taste

Directions:
Preheat oil to 365 degrees in a deep skillet or Dutch oven.
Rinse the filets in very cold water then pat dry.
In a bowl, add the eggs, hot sauce and Cajun seasonings.
Add the Louisiana fish fry breading to a separate bowl.
Dredge filets first in the egg mixture then into the Louisiana breading.
Fry the fish 2-3 minutes each side until golden or until they float to the top.
Drain on paper towels or rack and salt to taste and enjoy!

hey y’all tonight I’m prying us from Catfish using Louisiana fish fry breading now I’ve got some fresh caught catfish here that I’ve rinsed off and patted dry in a bowl I want to add the eggs your favorite hot sauce and your favorite Cajun seasoning give this a whip to combine in another Bowl add your Louisiana fish fry breading you can add any other seasonings that you like at this time dredge your fish first in the egg you want to drip off any excess and then place it in your breading press that breading into the fish that will assure that it stays on when you fry it all right next set that aside in a pot add your oil and bring this to 365 degrees and fry your fish in batches about two to three minutes each side until golden brown be sure to flip them halfway through when they’re done dry them on some paper towels or a rack season with salt serve and enjoy thanks so much for stopping by leave a comment I’ll answer every one of you until next time bye bye y’all
