Tomatoes will break your heart, man. I live in South Jersey, 7b, and growing tomatoes is required of any gardener and I love them but, man. It is so high stakes! (Pun not intended.)

What is this shenanigans on my Sun Golds? They are only out two weeks. We’ve had rain but I can’t stop the weather. I’ve sprayed preventative copper fungicide once already, a few days back. I walk out an hour ago to this.

I do containers so I can separate them (not conveniently but can be done). One Sun Gold has it on many leaves. The other has it on a few. I do not see it on any other tomato plants (I have 8 in addition to two sun golds).

I can start again on Sun Golds if I act immediately. I really don’t want to because money and work, but if this is everything about to head south? I found some starts I can buy.

Lmk thoughts please. My friends and family will riot if I don’t have Sun Golds.

(Of note: my fourth year growing so I know a little but only so much)
