I planted some Count Dracula seeds a couple weeks ago, putting (2) seeds in the same hole in each cup. Multiple cups resulted in (2) sprouted seeds.
Is it okay to keep them together? Through growth and transplant to a 5gal? Or will they fight for nutrients and not thrive as well?

Two seedlings this close will compete. It is possible to keep both but often one will dominate. Even if you feed and water more they’ll always be smaller/weaker than their potential because they’re crowded in both the soil and light.
A lot of gardeners struggle with thinning as it feels wasteful. I do too but it’s usually the right move to just snip off the weaker seedling (or flip a coin if they both seem the same). If you want to keep them both then carefully separate the seedlings and pot them up in their own containers. Do that now rather than later when their roots are developed and tangled.
