Denny’s Club Sandwich

You can make a club sandwich just like they do at Denny’s it is so easy to do. In fact it is so easy, you don’t even need a recipe for this one.

hi this is stephanie manley with copykat.com today i’m going to show you how to make a club sandwich just like they do at denny’s this recipe is so easy you don’t even need a recipe really if you’ve never had a club sandwich you’re going to combine a blt that’s a bacon lettuce tomato and a turkey sandwich and that’s it really so we’re starting out with three pieces of toast now you can use wheat or white you can get either denny if you have sour dough hey that would even be great too we’re going to begin by putting about a teaspoon of mayonnaise on each piece of toast if you like a little bit more go right ahead it’s up to you so again this is a turkey sandwich meets a blt now that means we’re going to start out with turkey so grab yourself a few slices of turkey and we are going to place turkey on one of the slices of toast that’s it that’s it next we’re going to put another piece of toast on top of the turkey and then we’re going to start on the blt portion of this now um i have a great video on how to bake bacon to where you get it nice and crisp and even so you might want to check that out you really can bake bacon in the oven and here we go some slices of fresh tomato and some lettuce and folks that’s really it for a club sandwich now cutting club sandwich is a little bit of an art here we are going to stick in four toothpicks because we want to secure the sandwich so we can cut it but i’m not putting the toothpicks on the corners as you can see i’m putting them in the middle of the bread one on the top one on the bottom and one on each side then i’m going to take a sharp knife and cut diagonally you know this is the way you always like your mom to cut your peanut butter and jelly sandwiches then i’m going to rotate the sandwich and do another diagonal cut you know what that’s all it takes to slicing a cold sandwich so there you go you can make a club sandwich just like they do with denny and for more recipes come to copykat.com
