Heya! Neurotic first-time grower here, again. :’)

I recently asked you guys for advice in regards of repotting my pepper plants into bigger pots. I got some proper big ones and repotted them a few days ago. Now, I’m wondering if maybe I repotted them too deep. Is there such a thing? Will they be alright? Is there something I should do?

Also, while I’m bugging you all. They tend to “droop” in the later hours of the day. The leaves are rigid, unlike when I’ve put them in direct sun and they go all floppy. Is this normal?

Burying them up to the cotyledons is perfectly fine, so there’s nothing you need to worry about here. They’ll even grow new roots on the parts of the stem you buried.

Nicely done. I would recommend letting the plants dry out once a week or month to the point you know its too dry when you water. Just a tip, helps roots grow in search for water.

Peppers grow advantageous roots. Can’t plant them too deep unless you completely bury them, even then, I expect a high percentage would survive.

Wahoo! Thank you guys so much! <3

  7. As long as no leaves are touching the dirt, you are fine. It’s pretty common to save legged plants. They will reroot
