lamb kofte burgers

Ingredients

500g lamb mince
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 Onion (finely minced)
4 Garlic Cloves (finely minced)
1 tsp Mint
1 tsp Parsley
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Ground Coriander
1 tsp Ground Ginger
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
2 tsp Allspice
1 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Cayenne

(Tzatziki Sauce Ingredients)
1/2 pot of natural Greek yogurt
1/2 a cucumber
3 tbsp mint
2 garlic cloves
half of a fresh lemon

(Method)

(STEP 1)
In a large bowl combine the ground lamb, smoked paprika, sea salt, ground black pepper, Onion, Garlic, Mint, Parsley, Lemon Juice, Ground Coriander, Ground Ginger, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Allspice, Cumin, and Cayenne. then mix until completely incorporated and slightly tacky.

(STEP 2)
In another large bowl combine all the tzatziki sauce ingredients and mix well then. Place in the fridge until ready to serve.

(STEP 3)
Form a few burger shapes in your hand. try to keep the meat cold, this will help the meat stick. Place the burgers in the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes

(STEP 4)
Serve the lamb kofte burgers with sliced tomatoes, onion, cucumber, lemon wedges, lettuce, rolls or ciabatta, and the tzatziki sauce.

hi everyone how you all doing and welcome back to Crazy bait today it’s just me cooking we are doing lamb KU Burgers so it is my own recipe I have it all written down pardon me I have all the ingredients set up I’m going to wash my hands get you guys set on the tripod and we will crack on with the recipe all right guys so here’s all the ingredients set up we have 500 G of um lamb mins you’ll want a/4 of a teaspoon of smoked peppera you want a teaspoon of salt half a teaspoon of ground pepper an onion you want um four four garlic cloves you want a teaspoon of parsley and mint which I have the mint over here you’ll want a tablespoon of lemon juice you want um a teaspoon of ground coriander teaspoon of Ginger a teaspoon of cinnamon half a teaspoon of um nutmeg two teaspoons of all spice um I actually make my own it’s l you just ground clothes nutmeg and um cinnamon and then you want a um a teaspoon of ground cumin half a teaspoon of KM pepper now that’s obviously just for the marinate for the burgers and then we’re going to also make a taziki sauce so that’s Greek yogurt I’m using fat free just because I’m obviously been eating heal hey um half a cucumber then you want three tablespoons of garlic two garlic uh 3 tbsp of mint sorry two garlic cloves and half of a lemon here’s what’s going so I’m just going to get a bowl a bowl [Music] now now we’re literally going to add in all of these ingredients we’re going to put our mints in first but so here’s our meat just going to quickly wash my [Music] hands there’s the teail there we go never prep for the video guys never put the light on see if that helps right so meat in now we’re going to add in all our spices so qu4 of a teaspoon of smoked peera my my teaspoon and only Heap sizes by the way um half a teaspoon a teaspoon of salt so is I’m just going to quickly grind this up yeah that should be enough somewhere about there about a teaspoon we want perfect just discarded [Music] that now want half a teaspoon of ground pepper off a teaspoon of that got four garlic clothes I’m going to peel these right there I’ve just finally grated my um garlic when it finally um finally minced but my mincer garlic mincer I’ve lost the um the bit out of it the Press bit out of it it so I’ve just grated it once that done then we’re going to want a teaspoon of mint just got to open my mint cuz it’s already um not open yet we going a good teaspoon of meat pasty this the same teaspoon of parsley tablespoon of lemon juice you can use um fresh but you know what nothing wrong with bottled ones that I’ve used I’m just going to put the the side cuz don’t need them anymore ground coriander Ginger pardon me ground cinnamon I love cinnamon I some people don’t like it just don’t add it half half a teaspoon of [Music] nutmeg right 2 teaspoon of all spice teaspoon of cumin oh smells so nice half a teaspoon of kaym pepper because this stuff is strong not a lot of people like spice so now and I’ve just got to add in half an onion and then mix it all together which I actually forgot to do right then we got finally chop onion just half an onion there we go so now get to combined it all together you can find um chop your onions really small if you want or um grate them if not I just roughly Cho them oh if you could smell this right now someone needs to come out with a smell vision camera cuz God this smells good now get good decent four burgers out of this oh this smells d delicious right now just going to set that aside wash my hands and we get on with the um taziki sauce right so now for the taziki sauce now in here I’ve got my two garlics I’ve done it off camera just to so it don’t take forever um the two garlic 3 tablespoons of mint half a cucumber roughly chopped um your half a lemon that you’re going to squeeze in there and you want roughly about I’ve opened this you want roughly about half a pot so just squeeze this I put my hand there just say OB see the Pips and that don’t fall through so just got that my hands and now r about half a pot that was slightly over it was a full po anyway cuz I did actually eat some off of camera absolutely love this stuff the dip as well as just Greek yogurt whether it’s normal or fat free which is absolutely delicious and I actually marinate my chicken in it as well so there you go just proves how good it is if I do baked chicken Styles or fried chicken I marinate it in that so look at that oh that is a bang in got have a taste test right it be rude not to be rude not to get the spoon in there yes on point B set that to a side and now let’s cook a burger now going to separate into roughly four and then you can just take a bit if anyone’s got too much basically so you see these two these are got more if you want to be precise you could just weigh it out but to me they look fairly good so I w’t actually going to do this cuz I was going to eat this for dinner tonight just because I’m off out in a right so I’ve just done three off camera you’re Lally just going to OB see get them and just just literally just flatten and round them off to obviously look like burgers look at that beautiful how beautiful is that right so I’m going to actually be cooking one of these on camera just to show you what they’re like I have got a roll out to have one later because I’m going to have one of these for dinner um so yeah let’s uh get cooking now going to want to warm up a pan obviously um I got it on a a low to medium heat just going to cut the squirts of fry light can never have enough now get the burger slap it straight in the pan extra fry light on the burger I’m just using one from Aldi’s spray light 1 calorie olive [Music] oil so I hope you guys also watch watched watched and liked the um video was made the yesterday which I put up today we’ll see before this one um so yeah I’m not going to bore you with cooking a burger most of you should know how to cook a burger obviously make sure it’s not pinking the inside um and then you are safe to eat it or get yourself a probe therometer and just check that way right so she is cooked going to turn it off and um let’s dish it up right so here we go it’s done I’ve just plated it up we got the burger I’ve done myself some of my healthy fries as I call them it’s basically just carrot sweed and Par it chopped up partly boiled then Frozen as like chips and get air fry 200 C um about 70 minutes we got our dip salad and the other three burgers I’ve lined them with a bit of um baking paper and then freeze them so let’s give this go without no sauce or the bun like that look at that oh wow that is full of flavor definitely give it a go so that’s it for today cuz I got to get this uploaded it’s currently 4:00 already so if you enjoyed that please give it a big
