I live in the Midwest where a lot of people think tooth paste is spicy so I was surprised to find my local grocery store actually sell something HOT for once!
I think the heat level is similar to Fiya! Fiya! or the Garlic Reaper sauce, maybe slightly higher. Those other sauces have better flavor imo but the flavor on this isn’t bad at all, it is just maybe a little too weak to compete with its own heat.

I recently found this too and really like the flavor. It’s not often you find a super hot sauce that isn’t just heat. It has a nice taste but I definitely wouldn’t put it in the same category as Tabasco. Tabasco is vinegar base and it’s one of my OG favs for that reason alone. I would say this is closer to the super hot version of El Yucateco or Da Bomb

It’s an extract sauce so yeah it’s stupid hot. I got it first time not knowing and tried it out in a bowl of ramen. Poured that shit like Louisiana lol. Good got did I regret finishing that bowl. Now I use it in like a pot of chili or something like that to amp the heat up. It’s good to cook with just gotta be careful cause it’ll melt your face off.

I didn’t really like that one. The heat was there, for sure. But it had kind of a flat flavor to me, and a rancid oil aftertaste. I made it halfway through the bottle before I gave up. There’s better stuff I can put on my food.

Has a flavor like battery acid. Best way to ruin any food, -1/10. Extracts make bad sauces.

It’s one of their hotter ones, but the extract flavor is a miss for me. See if they can order the scorpion sauce! It’s probably less hot (because it’s not extract), but it’s pretty good!

It’s not the most popular here but I really like that hot sauce and always keep it stocked. Has a great flavor to me. It’s the original Dave’s insanity sauce that is awful. The ghost pepper sauce is great.
Yep usually just 3 – 4 drops and I’m good for my dinner.

When I was in high school they made a special version of it that I got my dad one christmas. I think it was a one time thing, but it was signed and numbered and came in a coffin wrapped in caution tape lol and was way hotter Not the ghost pepper just regular dave’s insanity I mean

I remember buying Dave’s Insanity back when extracts were the only way to achieve that level of heat — when the red savina habanero was the hottest pepper on the block. The flavor sucked and it sat in the fridge for ages.
A few years back, I picked up a bottle of the Ghost Pepper sauce. I couldn’t get rid of it fast enough (ironic, because even cutting it into other sauces for heat only destroyed their flavor). It was just too hot for no flavor. Eventually, I came to grips with the sunk costs and tossed it. It’s now second place alongside Da Bomb of sauces I will never buy (or eat) again.
