Greetings! Making a great salad is easy. Making a classic like Greek salad can be really easy if you know where to start.

This classic diner salad is hearty and full of fresh veggies and salty olives and sharp Feta cheese. I have added some grilled chicken to round out this fabulous dinner salad!

Next time you feel like having a salad for supper. Seriously consider this one!

I hope you try it and I hope you love it!

Happy Eating!

[Music] everyone I’m n and welcome to my kitchen and a new episode of what’s for dinner we’re going to have salad for dinner tonight and I thought it would be fun to make a Greek salad weather’s getting a little bit warmer we’re going into summer spring is here hooray um I love the winter you know but I also love this spring it’s like a close second to Autumn so really for me Autumn winter spring perfect summer but okay whatever so cool weather meals this is light and refreshing it’s great for dinner it’s great for lunch you can eat it with or without a meat you can use leftover steak you put London Broil on this you can put grilled chicken which is what we’re going to do I made some paner chicken with dinner the other night we have leftovers I’m going to just slice it and put it on top Greek salad is fantastic it’s a classic Diner salad and you can make it at home and you don’t have to spend a lot of money to do it and if you buy the ingredients to go in it you can make Greek salad uh for a long time so this is what we’re going to do I’m just going to make one for right now and then everybody will make theirs individually I want Greek salad I’m not so sure everybody else does but they’ll make their salad the way they want it we’re going to put this is a some roma lettuce that I just Chopped with a knife and we’re going to go in and we’re going to put some Tomatoes I’m just going to make kind of of like a constructed salad so that you can see what it looks like so I’m going to take this tomato and I’m just going to lay it right here just like that and I’m going to take some pepper rings I got these great Peppers at Sam’s Club and they are um GMO they’re GMO certified GMO free um which I was really happy to see that I know they smell really good don’t they mhm and I have yellow ones too this these are like little sweet peppers um and they all came in a bag together and that’s just fun you know they’re great for stir fries or salads and they make this Greek salad really stand out um also got some of these really great um mini cucumbers they’re like mini hot house cucumbers and these also were certified GMO free uh through the GMO free the GMO project which is listed on the bag I think we talked about that in another [Music] video and um yeah and when you eat it you’ll just mix it up so I love to make a constructed salad like a cob salad that’s always fun and that’s very tasty I love a cob salad and I have some you can’t have a Greek salad without having some olives so some calamada olives go in there and these are meretta and these are my favorite this particular brand is my favorite brand for pickled vegetables and it is readily available all over the country I’m going to put in some Spanish olives as well I love olives and pickled vegetables jaretta um roasted red peppers cherry peppers I just love them and then we’re going to take uh some of this chilled grilled chicken say that three times fast right and I’m going to stick that right there and this is definitely a lovely dinner salad then I’m going to this is a slab of feta cheese you’re going to have as much or as little feta as you like but um I really like Feta cheese on my salad now I it’s a really beautiful presentation for dinner and like I said I think am the only one who’s going to eat this I don’t know if Rick will will you eat one like this well you can have this one okay so the only other thing we’re going to do is put dressing on here and what I would recommend is just to go ahead and um serve that vinegret on the side or you can drizzle it over the top you want me to drizzle sure give your vinegret a good shake and what’s going to happen is that feta is going to get mixed up with the dressing now I know Rick he’s going of put like three times as much dressing on his salad and that’s okay cuz he likes his salad with a lot of dressing on it but that is how you make a perfectly delicious Greek salad for supper and it’s filling and it’s satisfying and even my kids will eat that but my KS are Freaks and they like vegetables so I never had to worry about that Micah won’t eat that Micah will only eat a salad that is made from cucumbers spinach and ranch dressing and and she eats the tomatoes on the side she doesn’t want the tomatoes in her salad but that’s how she likes it and I’m figuring as long as she’s eating the salad I’m doing okay so um I hope that you try this Greek salad for a really great refreshing summer meal that’s great for lunch or dinner and and I hope that you love it I’ll put a recipe guideline on my website you can check that out and that’s www.n kitchen.com I’m so glad you stopped by my kitchen tonight to join me for making this wonderful Greek salad and until next time I’ll see [Music] you [Music] ah

  1. Thanks for the backup! Cindy is most likely never going to put herself out there for others to see. People who speak like this are usually not even fond of themselves! Low self esteem will manifest itself in one of two ways. People will either become extremely introverted and depressed or suicidal or they will simply become an amazing bully. The internet is very appealing to the latter because they can do all of this behind an avatar and never need show their true self.

  2. I enjoy your videos and thru watching them I have been introduced to many other lovely and informative people. I was offended and ashamed by the vile attack on you and your family. Take issue with your recipes your philosophy, but never on your family! Give the hate filled and miserable what they deserve-nothing. I don't know this evil person nor do I have time to give them, I am too far to busy learning and enjoying your videos. God Bless

  3. I'm not going anywhere! Sticks and stones, you know the saying. I deal with people like this on a daily basis. Mostly they leave these comments on older videos where regular subscribers won't see them. Then there is the occasional idiot who is brave enough to hide behind their on screen presence and leave comments like the one above. I usually delete them but because so many people have responded to them I have simply left it and blocked them from making further comments on my channel.

  4. I don't have a Whole Foods near me. I do shop at one when we go for Rick's VA appointments near Durham. I love shopping there. So much to see. I could drop a paycheck in there. Seriously!

  5. I love going to Big Lots for things like that. I found a couple nice jars of their Muffeletta spread and have them hoarded in my kitchen cabinet.

  6. I love Spanakopita. They are not that hard to make if you have all the right ingredients. I have them on my list to make. Problem is I could eat the whole pan and my family would be very upset with me because they love them too!

  7. Lots of times people like Cindy are just wanting attention, and they say these unbelievably horrible things to get people all riled up in the comments. It makes her feel important in some twisted way, I guess. Anywho, LOOK at how many people are standing up for you! That's what really means something. Your loyal subscribers and viewers absolutely love you and your videos. I look forward to coming here every day, and I'm always excited when I see you have a new video up. Have a GREAT day!

  8. Thank you Noreen for posting this salads. Im trying to eat healthy again and I needed more ideas for salads. My problem is that im single and the lettuce always goes bad before I can use it all. Any suggestions???

  9. <3 You An Your Family Noreen,, So many HEALTHY ideas I have walked away from you with,, that has been great for mine an my husband an daughters health,, I have an under active thyroid an I have diabetes so I know that its not the food you eat but how your body works with it, Not everyone is heavy from food an over eating an wish that people would realize that before hurting someone for no good reason,, Keep the vids coming so I can enjoy them with my family, My daughter is 14 an watches every 1!

  10. Thanks for your kind words and your input. I have Hashimoto sydrome (severe underactive thyroid) and PCOD this combined will prohibit many women from losing any type of weight. You are right. I could drink nothing but water for a week and gain weight. It is not worth the breath most times to try and convince a health nut skinny mini that they are wrong. Because they are not dealing with such things. I attribute some of these issues to years of eating processed foods. Thanks! Take care!

  11. And for the same reason they seem to get their jollies from making comments to rile up someone. Only attention they like is the negative kind I suppose. I have had Hashimoto as well and you are right, really makes it hard to loose. When I had gall stones that plugged my bile duct and got REALLY sick I got slimmed down, don't recommend that diet 😉 The blasted doctor still said I should loose five pounds…

  12. Yummy. I found your site and I love your ideas. I tried the oven baked chicken and it was SO YUMMY. We had it with micro waved and then fried sliced taters with sour cream and baked beans. I made jello with pineapple chunks for desert. I can't wait to try your salad..MmmmMMMMmmmmMMMMM. you rule and I love your QUEENdom.

  13. What health challenges might you be referring to? I personally don't have any health challenges that would cause me to not be able to cook. I'm kind of confused why you would think that.

  14. wow how the hell did i miss this looks so yummy im making this tonight noreen thanks for all that you do keep up with your great vids sending blesses your way
