Even if you're a few hours from Long Island (I'm 4.5) I will drive to get a gallon of these pickles and share with friends and family. Thank me later.

Their Atomic spicy pickles are life changing.

Close second Bubbie's spicy Kosher pickles, hard to find and a bit pricy at $10 for a jar.

If anyone says Grillo's pickles are better please block me.

I wish i had pickles as good as you describe close to me.

    Shoutout from atlanta, ga

Homemade. I took some exotic superhot sauce with Reapers and added it to a jar of Vlaasics, then let it sit for a few weeks. They were incredibly hot.

Tabasco Brand hot pickles. Had a friend of mine, who’s brother lived down South. He used to give him a case of jars Tabasco brand pickles, and they were too many for him. He used to give me jars of it, and they don’t last long for me.

Wish they sold them in my neck of the woods, but you can make your own Tabasco pickles with store bought pickles.

Have you considered calling them and asking if they’d ship them to you?

maybe i should branch out from my preferred Claussen Hot & Spicy. the crunch is so good though.

Dave’s sweet and spicy pickle chips

I don’t like sweet pickles. Especially bread & butter. But The House of Blues restaurant has a Sweet and Spicy pickle that is delicious.

I love the Kroger branded ‘zesty hot dill zingers’ are great. But inconsistent in heat. Lucky I love all types of dill pickles, hot and not hot.

OP, are those Atomic Pickles crispy? I found the pickles that are in room temperature jars tend to be mushy and pickles that are stored cold, sold cold, and kept cold, have way more crisp.

Bubbies is pretty top-notch. I also love Cleveland Kitchen’s kimchi pickles. Not as hot, but super tasty.

If you’re a fan of garlic, Freakin Pickles in Michigan has an xtra hot garlic pickle chip and it’s the best and spiciest pickle I’ve ever had. Shipping is steep, I was lucky enough to get a jar from a trade show. I think about those bad boys all the time 🤤

a guy i worked with in 2000 got hot horse radish pickles from somewhere in long island and they are to this day the best hot pickle i’ve ever had, it was in a white horse radish sauce – is that style pickle pickle a long island thing?

They remind me of Aldi’s Atomic Spicy pickles. Both were amazing!

Omg! I had their horseradish pickles at a festival in Oyster Bay decades ago and could never remember who they were. Thanks for the reminder!!!!!! Gotta head out to Long Island next time I’m in NY!!

Make your own, it’s straightforward to ferment any pepper or cuke and then add in whatever spice combo you think will work

Bubbies spicy are great but the grocery stores by me have them so inconsistently. Farm ridge atomic pickles are good too, never tried the ones you linked.

I would love to try clausen’s spicy but I’ve never seen them in the wild

  17. GoatLegRedux

Oh Snap! and Claussen’s both make a good one. Grillo’s makes awesome pickles but I’m not sure if they do a spicy one.

I’m pretty particular about my pickles the way I am about spice. You could give me a perfect pickle with mediocre spice and I’ll be into it, but give me a shitty pickle with killer spice and I’ll hate it.
