Hey folks – this video shows how I cook corned beef hash using my leftover St. Paddy’s Day corned beef. You really only need the below items to complete this task.
Some cooked corned beef
Potatoes – peeled and diced
Black pepper
Salt (optional)
Diced onions (optional)
Fix this for a true restaurant quality breakfast. You can even substitute the corned beef with any other kind of cooked meat that you have.

you guys in this video I’m gonna show you how I go about making corned beef hash with leftover corned beef so what I’ve got here is I got about 3/4 of a pound of leftover corned beef from st. Patty’s Day that I cooked in my crock pot I got four average-sized potatoes then I’m gonna be peeling and chopping into cubes got a few teaspoons of coarse black pepper and I got some olive oil first thing I didn’t need to do is I need to peel my potatoes I’m gonna slice them up into small chunks about fork size kind of like that and I’m gonna be frying these potatoes in my 12-inch large cast iron pan under a medium heat it’s just a little bit of olive oil in the pan and frying these up to a golden brown as those are frying I’m gonna go ahead and start slicing up my corned beef again I’m gonna chop this corned beef up into small chunks like fork size chunks roughly until it kind of like that when these potatoes are nearly cooked done I’m gonna separate my pan into two halves the empty side I’m gonna be dumping in my corned beef I’m gonna let that cook for about a minute or so just get the heat it up and I’m gonna fold everything all in together remember my potatoes are nearly finished here so and the corned beef is already cooked so I’m really just heating up the corned beef and just mixing everything up all together and they had my coarse black pepper you notice I didn’t add any salt because the corned beef itself is a bit salty so I didn’t need the salty flavor you know to to that I’m gonna fry this all that or stir it all up just incorporating all of that stuff all together just mixing it all up I got about a two-thirds one-third ratio here about two thirds potatoes to one-third corned beef that’s all your personal preference as to what ratio you want to have you know potatoes – corned beef I also did not add any diced onions to this which you can certainly do you know to make this taste better if you like it so we’re pretty much finished here so I’m gonna plate this up it’s cooking time took about 15 minutes just let you know I already fried another piece of my meal up a fried egg here over easy put right on top a couple of pieces of toast and I’m ready for breakfast so there you have it corned beef hash made with leftover corned beef made in the comfort of your own home thank you for watching what catch you later
