I have the same question actualy as my tomatoe plant is Also little and producing flowers. But ive left the suckers on too long…

It’s a matter of choice. You may get stronger plants with more fruit if you remove early flowers, but they will be a little later. I leave them as it suits me to have early fruit rather than a glut later but it won’t make much difference.

They should still grow while flowering and fruiting if they have the resources. I had a few plants started blooming before I put them in the ground. I plucked those off since I want those plants to focus resources on getting established before making babies.
