we are going to be making some shrimp fried rice and I started Fri well by the way I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day I was in Atlanta if you follow me yes we are going to be making well I’m going to be making a week you know we in this together we’re going to be making sure fried rice whenever I order Chinese food it’s always the shrimp fried rice let me know below what do you order when you order Chinese food so this recipe is really easy you already know it’s all about things then easy and if it’s not easy Trinities gonna make it look easy so you’re gonna need some rice of course I mean it’s recommended that you use jasmine rice that’s my favorite rice some onions y’all know I hate chopping onions so I went ahead and just picked up some onions that were already chopped some green onions this is what I really actually love great onions and a lot of things I don’t know it’s like that the extra certain ease some tumeric this is very important because this is full of flavor and this is probably like a little bit of a secret ingredient because I don’t think a lot of people know that tumeric is used in a lot of the shrimp fried rice recipes but it is and it’s good but on top of that to work is like healthy all around y’all like it has a whole lot of health benefits I actually have some tumeric tea back there do you know what Alexa what are the health benefits of tumeric according to the NIH historically turmeric has them used in Ayurvedic medicine primarily the Asian for many conditions including breathing problems rheumatism serious pain and fatigue today turmeric is used as a dietary supplement brain flah Mason arthritis stomach skin liver and gallbladder problems cancer and other conditions claims that perk you monoids found in turmeric help to reduce inflammation are supported by strong studies preliminary studies found that curcumin arts may reduce the number of heart attacks bypass patients head after trying you’re also gonna need some eggs and it’s funny because whenever I get eggs in my hand I just feel like I need to juggle it I don’t know like I just have to and it’s so funny now it’s becoming a thing let’s just accept it it’s not going anywhere okay oh boy a little crusty today here we go here we go oh well of course you’re going to need some shrimp make sure that it is deveined already made sure that it is raw shrimp and it is not cooked yet also make sure to have some oil I’m going to use it canola oil make sure you also have some soy sauce oh my goodness I forgot to tell y’all okay so this is a wok okay this is my new baby you don’t have to have this but this is what is used to make stir-fried shrimp fried rice I do not have to have this in order to make a shrimp fried rice delicious dish so another that y’all this let’s go ahead and get started first things first go ahead and turn on your pan you want to get it already warm so just turn it on medium heat and this is gonna go really fast so I’m gonna go ahead and let you know that you need to go ahead and cook that rice to crack an egg in a small bowl usually a lot of people just use one egg but I kind of like my protein so I’m going to add in a second egg and I’m only cooking for one person and this is really like a customizable type of dish most people like carrots in their shrimp fried rice some people like corn some people like peas I actually hate peas there’s no way peas are going in last minute I decided to include carrots because I have some carrots in the fridge and they’re actually going to be going bad kind of soon so I was like okay well go ahead and incorporate some carrots but I’m actually going to incorporate it in a very uh funny way okay boy if you don’t get the time I’m gonna do it because I don’t want to chocolate carrots right now like I don’t feel like it and here are my onions I’m gonna go ahead and add some oil this pan has to be hot add in some sesame oil let me sniff it cuz I’ve never used this before very smoky definitely like a smoky smell very strong a little bit of that I’m gonna add in my egg first and I didn’t really whisk it like I should’ve but it’s okay oh look at it now I’m going to add in poop my vegetables now I’m going to try to make a little hole right here and add in my shrimp so right now you can go ahead and add in your salt and pepper in just certain things that you would like but it added some white pepper just want to make sure your shrimp is being cooked if you need to throw the lid on top a little bit go ahead just keep an eye out one your food because that shrimp will cook up on you girls oh so good now I’m gonna add in my turmeric and stir that around a little bit well a lot and then I’m going to add my rice and of course the tumor gives them more of a yellow look if this is coming off very yellow it’s because of the turmeric so whatever mmm that smells good [Music] so for the important part your soy sauce okay this is what’s going to give it the color this is what’s going to finish it off this is I would say one of the most important things I think I actually made this on my Instagram not too long ago oh right cleaning sir this thing looks so good [Music] oh it was kind of hot up in the kitchen today this is my shrimp fried rice my way with a lot of heavy turmeric as you can see it has like a nice yellow color it’s so hot like my face is sweating mmm to display hot pillow it I forgot to pray Lord I’m so so sorry but please let this food be nourishment to my body in Jesus name we pray amen I’m still   2. I learned an AMAZING hack for cutting onions it hasn’t failed me yet you wet a paper towel and set it near where you’re chopping the onion and it will not make you cry it’s unreal

  3. It’s 4am. I want shrimp fried rice so I’m here! It was 🔥 🔥 🔥. I substituted the Soy sauce for Braggs Amino Acid for a no salt option. Soooo friggin good! Next time I’ll amp it up with bean sprouts and all that good stuff. Thanks for the recipe.
