My tomatoes are looking so good lately! Every two to three days I’ve been checking under every leaf and killing any pests I see. Excited to see how well they produce. Another question, has anyone ever used Diatomaceous Earth for pest control?

Diatomaceous earth is awesome and is non toxic for people and pets (it’s just crushed seashells or diatoms) although it does not kill every type of critter, they don’t kill the larval stages of bugs or the dreaded horned tomato worm. For killing bugs that don’t have an exoskeleton you can use something called mosquito bits and you sprinkle them on top of the soil or soak them in water and water the soil like that. For something a bit more natural you can use Neem Oil.
So spread the diatomaceous earth around and mix some in your soil as it will absolutely kill a lot of creepy crawlies including beetles but not all of them!
P.S. your tomatoes look great. I like the wood poles in cement you built I want to do something similar!
They do look real good!
