Looking for anyone with this grill and/or knowledge of this pellet grill. Is good a good grill at a great price? Any issues with this model that I should know about?

Mine has worked flawlessly for a few years now.

Traeger gets a lot of crap for being too expensive but at that price I’d jump on it ASAP.

I think I paid whatever retail was on that ($600?) like 4 years ago. It’s kind of no frills and I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t do more research because Costco and Walmart sometimes have models from like pit boss and camp chef that had more features and cost less. That said, it’s given me no problems aside from one scary flame up /burn out incident when I cranked it up to high to “burn all the shit off of it” like I do with my grill sometimes. Obviously user error there. Thats worth $350 all day

I’ve had my 22 for 8 years and had zero problems with it. No joke, when warmed up it keeps temp within 5°. Yesterday it was within 1°

I’ve never seen a Traeger with that low of a price

I just ordered a pit boss 850 pro series from Lowes fully assembled and delivered for free. $450 on sale now. I picked it because it has the sear feature and wifi with a 20lb hopper. I looked at a LOT of pellet grills and it seemed to be the best for the price. Hardly anything has wifi under $600.

I have this one. Works well. Not perfect, though. I’ve had one auger jam and found the motor assembly was assembled incorrectly. Fixed that. Currently using it as we speak.

Is this your first pellet grill?
If so I bet this will be a good grill to learn on.

My Traeger at this level lasted 5 years with minimal issues, other than the occasional L3R error. Used it multiple times a week. My igniter finally bit the dust. I am just getting a new grill because the part is with more than my grill is now
