LGM Hot Chili Sauce is better than any chili crisp, and it’s not even close.

It’s the one with kohlrabi as the second ingredient. I’d share some serving recommendations, but I eat almost the entire jar with a spoon.

theres better ones with more flavor and more spice you just need some good asian markets especially chinese ones where you have half an aisle of chinese chili crisps (and none of em are american made)

You want the one with black bean in it.

    100x better!

Eat it with rice, egg, and steam vegetables 🤤

So I’ve never tried chili crisps before. I bought this brand, I tried it yesterday and thought it was generally not good and super weird tasting. Not spicy at all. Should I expect different flavors trying another brand? If not I will not be venturing out again.

Lee Kum Kee is good, I don’t like this brand

Everyone should try Sate Trieu Chau SATÊ’ MÈ (sorry for using an incorrect character, I don’t have the correct one so I improvised).

I can’t find it online but it’s always always always at our Asian markets. Online, the tôm khô version (instead of the satê’ mê) seems ubiquitous, but not sure what the difference is. Again apologies to all of Vietnam for the very stupid rec I’m giving. But seriously. It’s spicy oily umami goodness, so if LGM isn’t quite your thing, like if it’s not spicy enough or a little too chunky/crunchy, give this a try. It’s smoother in texture and pleasantly hot.

PLEASE disregard how bad my description is and just try it.

I wish it was spicier, I eat it too quickly.

Why’s it taste like old socks covered in fish juice?

Fk no , crisp destroys the standard chili oil.

I wonder what the next craze will be

My go to is Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Style Chili Oil. The LGM brand (to me) has a wierd texture.
