Let’s see that roast date.

Hate to burst your bubble, but this brand is NOT from Morocco. Bacha Coffee is a Singaporean brand, the same owners and holding company that runs TWG Teas.
They follow the exact same marketing strategy of putting random years and some suspect background story on the ‘heritage’ or ‘legacy’ of the brand.
It basically a tourist trap upselling expensive supermarket coffee. Looking at this bag, it says it’s their Over the Andes blend, and if you actually check their website, does not even mention the types of beans used in the blend, just a generic vague description of “mountain blend of high-elevation South American harvests”
If there’s not a roast date it’s probably terrible.

My friend bought me this as a gift since i “love coffee” At least you received whole beans.., i received a coffe bag. Like a whole giant gift box of coffee bags…. it has strong aromas and flavor that feels more like teas than coffee. Im still thankful that they looked for thoughtful gift and bought whatever they considered fancy but yeah its not really drinkable tbh…

If she’s in Marrakech still and wanna bring you some actual nice coffee, she could get some beans from Bloom. They’re the first specialty roasters in Morocco
