Honestly, I don’t think that they are. In general, blondies are “dense,” that makes them delicious 👍. The “bottom” is brown, as is the top. I think they are great!

Blondies and brownies should be cooked to a certain internal temperature. It’s like levain type cookie do you want them soft fudgy and melt in your mouth or dry crumbly and overcooked.
People who want the 2nd option shouldn’t eat them. It’s like ordering a super high quality steak and asking to be served ultra well done

I find how cooked I want them depends when I’m going to eat them. If I’m baking the day before, that’s a good level of doneness to me. If I’m serving hot, I want it cooked somewhat more.
