[Music] comedy kitchen with Chef cell was recorded in front of a fake audience hey guys Chef cell right here welcome aboard ladies we have caught ourself some Atlantic salmon and we got no we have a great dish for you today Atlantic salmon grilled on the stove top and you can do it outside too if you want with a mango salsa listen the ingredients please like And subscribe and stay here there’s 300 recipes floating all around this joint here on Comedy kitchen with Chef cell here’s everything you’re going to need for the mango salsa the salmon and the avocados a lot of double UPS you know use lime in two spots you know that kind of thing it’s a chef term to double up not really all right so what do I have I have a jar of sweeten sour sauce I have two avocados ripe please make sure they’re ripe and little package of Baby Dill or Dill whatever you could find is fine we have about a quarter of a pretty large red onion I’m using one from last night that I didn’t eat two mangoes three limes ripe limes just squeeze them when you get in the store see squeeze them oops sorry cilantro did I knock you off the cliff bit of cilantro keep a/4 cup ready I have two full pounds of salmon any type you want and I have it separated one lb and one lb salt and pepper I’m going to use my cast iron ribbed pan see that it’ll look like you grilled it let’s start one thing at a time let’s make the mango sacea first and then we’ll go from there stay please thank [Music] you see this red part that’s what you’re looking for a nice red and a light green mix and when you smell the mango through the skin you know it’s a good mango okay see how it’s thin here and it’s thick here this is what they call the cheek the cheek of the mango so first I’m going to take the skin off and then I’m going to show you how to slice this okay yeah peel it like a potato no big deal all right here’s the long side this way see so I’m going to cut it with the long side and I’m going to put a little platform on the bottom so it doesn’t slip these things are very slippery so be careful and you want to go down if you hit the pit you’ve gone too far I didn’t hit the pit I didn’t go too far and now we can get some off of the side here that pit starting to peek through story of my life we’re going to be mixing this up or chopping it up actually we’re going to be chopping this up pretty good so doesn’t matter if you get these weird shaped pieces all right I can smell it it’s great I feel like like I’m down in the islands down in the islands they take a coconut and make it swing finally chopped yeah that’s a good cup and a half of mango I think that’s going to be fine enough I’ll have the other one for lunch tomorrow no I won’t cut up some of this red onion a fine dice would be nice I mean the star of this salser is obviously the mango so don’t overpower it with all this onion all right that’s why we want a red onion it’s not a killer you know it’s not killer like the yellow onions and all the rest of them tablespoon of chopped cilantro that’s why I want you to go to the store and buy it already chopped in these containers cuz you can also save it for a good amount of time zest of one lime coming up it’s an easy one get one of these thin handheld zesters they’re the best better control comes out to about a tablespoon for all you people playing at home now we’re going to slice this in half get it ready for the juicer cuz the juice is also going in Fun Time nice Bowl oh man this stuff is oozing juice the mango Patrol is going to lock me up for this one excuse me sir we do not allow perfect mangoes in South [Music] Carolina put this all in there tablespoon of this cilantro squeeze that whole lime in there man I wish you could smell this but you will if you make it I I really want you to make this one send me a picture work spoon work spoon and this just in I’m going to throw some hot sauce in here if you’re not already cooking in your life you’ll see what I mean after a while you’re going to be like oh I know what this needs and you’re going to put this in the fridge and let it chill and throw a little salt in here too and some pepper let me clean up this mess and go to the next step no this is not a triy Buel judging the bowl this is what you need for this glaze we’re going to put on this salmon I left out in my original list the teriyaki sauce and the ginger and the sesame oil but I did remember the sweet and sour sauce or duck sauce so so I got one out of four thank [Applause] you small bowl 1/4 cup this duck sauce4 cup Teryaki little bit of Ginger I like the tube Ginger this is the equivalent of like a half an inch piece of Ginger you can grate it yourself fresh if you want but I’m a lazy boy sesame oil about a teaspoon let’s mix that up that’s some good you know what no need for salt or pepper this is going to go on the salmon as we’re cooking it at the same time we’re cooking the salmon we’re going to cook or grill these two avocados let’s get them chopped in half careful with this move the avocado not the knife make sure they’re ripe all right here’s how you get that little thingy out yeah that’s right I said thingy it’s my new word and don’t put this in the glass and grow it and it’s not going to work all right you need a hoard of culture degree from the real Cornell and that’s two or four halves got my two nice chunks of salmon here which I’m going to cut in half each before I start it’s always easier to cut the raw salmon then be cooked salmon cuz it won’t flake on you and that’s right flake is a verb when you’re dealing in my kitchen so I have my grill on the stove getting heated up now in a high heat so I’m going to brush these avocados a little bit of oil to get some nice lines on there and we’re going to brush this with a little bit of oil too to get some nice lines on here and remember that mango salsa is chilling away and everybody’s getting to know each other in my refrigerator I’m going to kick him out soon hey what’s going on in there all right over to the stove nice hot pan going and I have salted and sesame oiled and and sliced apart the salmon pieces all right I can get three in here I’ve also oiled up and salted it’s avocado that’s about all I can fit in here now I’ll just do the rest when these are done very simple give this a couple of minutes then we’re going to flip it to the other side all right I flipped everything and now we want to get this delicious everything on there the sauce we made I have the skin slide down now and what the heck put a little on the avocado let this go another two minutes depending on how you like your salmon put my fancy cover on here create the oven effect we are ready to Plate little skin on there let that crisp up if you want that’s some good stuff too and let’s get our avocado outo and let me let me pretty this up and let’s taste we have mango salsa all over the place place we have a Teriyaki sweet and sour sauce salmon and an avocado that’s seen worse days well let’s get in there we did all this work right let me tell you I got to get some more salsa I don’t think I got enough salsa excuse me do you have any salsa we need more salsa where’s
