Is it just me or these numbers don’t make sense? 44 g of fat is 35%, but 82g of protein is just 29%?

Protein and carbs provide about 4 calories per 1 gram while fat provides about 9 calories per 1 gram. That means if you consume 10 grams of protein or fat, you are consuming 40 calories from those sources. For 10 grams of fat, that’d be 90 calories.

You then divide the total number of macro calories by your total calorie consumption to get the percents.

In your first slide you consumed approximately 400.5 calories from fat, so assuming you consumed 1,200 calories that day to make it easy, you’d then divide that 400.5 by 1200 which would give you 33.4%
