Writing this while waiting for initial burn off.

I received delivery of
– weber kamado s6 (upgrade from weber 22” kettle). $1880
– napoleon prestige 500 with side burner (upgrade from weber spirit 2 210). $1300

As you can see, i usually buy the reliable but the cheapest grills. I decided to splurge to celebrate fathers day.

Purchase/delivery
I got both from greentoe and funny because 1 appliance shop from new jersey won bid on both. I think i could have gotten both slightly cheaper if i was little bit more patient and counter offered. Timeline:
5/5: offer accepted
5/10: shipped
5/23: received

Thoughts
– s6 is much much bigger than i thought, especially when comparing next to 22” kettle.
– e6 (without side table) would have been better option as i could have gotten searwood or another good pellet grill with the money; i went from one side of extreme to another on price.
– i hated assembling napoleon. It didn’t have the right screws for side table (known issue here) and instruction was very confusing. Weber was easy to assemble and Bilt made it even easier.

You’re going to love that summit komada. It’s unbeatable for just about everything!

Agree on the e6 and searwood but you have a good combo either way
